German term (edited): mit sich bringen

reword

... along the lines of 'due to the amount of scatter/variation/etc. already present in the production process'.
Peer comment(s):

agree Armorel Young : yes, well said - or even "... inherent in the production process"

Thanks -- I was thinking of 'inherent' at first, but in connection with the products, which doesn't fit -- but 'inherent in the production process' is good.

German term (edited): mit sich bringen

cause

or "create". I read that the products may cause the variation rather than the process (maybe variation in the quality of the raw material??). Then your sentence would be something like "..already cause variances during their manufacture"
