Whenever I see texts (and questions) like this, I'm reminded of the advice given to Dutch translation students that the first task of the translation process is 'onttaling' of the text -- i.e. extracting the meaning of the text from its formulation in words -- after which the art is to devise a suitably equivalent formulation in a different language.

: Yep, that's where I was going (I hope) with my suggestion, but seeking a compromise, because customers and, unfortunately, translators are sometimes uneasy when you change the structure as in your (admirable) effort.

Yeah, I like your suggestion the best. My suggestion is intentionally exaggerated. IMHO clients who expect translators to act as copywriters get what they deserve.
