Comment: "Thanks to both of you for the suggestions. I later found that the spelling can also be "Bahnkopplung" and this has a few hits on Google. In particular "spin-Bahnkopplung" matches up with "spin-trajectory coupling", so I stayed with "trajectory coupling" in the end"
