It is also a popular male name in India.

In Hindi, rohan is also the name of a tree. Unfortunately I am not able to find the scientific name of the tree. I will post it here if I can find it.

Mallotus philippinensis
In one web reference, this tree has the English name of Monkey Face Tree.

: Regarding the first meaning, your reference has confused it with another similar Hindi word rogan (रोगन). The second meaning is nearer teh mark, though.
