German term

Führung von Mitarbeitern

German to English Bus/Financial Management
I'm translating a colleague's CV. He wants to mention "Führung von Mitarbeitern" as one of his tasks.
What would you suggest?
Change log

Apr 12, 2006 11:03: Ian M-H (X) changed "Field" from "Law/Patents" to "Bus/Financial" , "Field (specific)" from "Human Resources" to "Management"

Discussion

Francis Lee (X) Apr 12, 2006:
Probably depends on a) which sector, b) exactly what his tasks involved and c) what sort of scale (SMB/multinational, department etc.). Although (as on any cv) "Führung" MIGHT be an exaggeration - which would nevertheless call for an English equivalent.

...provide leadership for co-workers

..........I have read this many times in CV's
Peer comment(s):

agree Ike Roetman : Is not a management function, otherwise would have used appropriate terms for that. But would like to state that he/she can manage if needed. Assumption!
