I don't know..."fleece" is also the first word that came to my mind when I read "Fliess", but I can't be sure...this is the only instance in which the word "Fliess" is used in the entire 10-page document.

In most technical contexts at least, the generally accepted translation for "Vlies" is non-woven (fabric, material)

I'm pretty sure it is supposed to be "Vlies" and therefore the translation is "fleece"...
seems to be just a typo
