Gemeinsam für Mensch und Natur

German to English Marketing Environment & Ecology
A nice one for our creative Sundays...

TIA Stephen

From your context, it sounds as though the people running the project and who thought up this slogan are giving themselves a well-deserved pat on the back.

PS 'man' works just as well as 'mankind' in this context. It may even be preferable as it sounds rather less global in its reach.

agree Hilary Davies Shelby : definitely the most native-sounding suggestion here so far! Hello Andrew

agree Trans-Marie : Ja, denn "gemeinsam" bezieht sich auf die Projektinitiatoren, nicht auf Mensch und Natur.

agree Mandy Williams : For the reasons mentioned by Hilary and Manuela.

agree Ian M-H (X) : Of the five suggestions currently on offer, this one stands out: it's idiomatic English and actually means the same as the German. Perfect for Stephen's context.

agree Lesley Burgon : very suitable and sounds natural

Men as well as nature will take advantage of....
Note from asker:
I would deifinitely use the singular

disagree Ian M-H (X) : I'm not quite sure what "for men and nature at one" might mean, but I'm pretty certain that it isn't natural English. Confidence 5 strikes me as more than a little excessive.

shared by man and nature.

MAN kann durchaus verwendet werden, denn es bedeutet ja auch "the human individual as representing the species, without reference to sex (also Frauen sind somit auch inbegriffen)".
Peer comment(s):

disagree Ian M-H (X) : What is "shared" by man and nature? A flexible approach is fine, but this strays rather too far from the meaning of the original.

Union of man and nature

... is what occurs to me
Peer comment(s):

disagree Ian M-H (X) : This doesn't mean the same as the original. It might be possible to rewrite using this, but that isn't what you've suggested.

This would bring in the fact that paths and trails are being produced.
