Tissues
The whole sentence is below. It is about, would you believe, the problem of being unable to unfold your tissue quickly enough if you need to blow your nose or sneeze:
**Seit 1975 löst die Z-Faltung das Problem buchstäblich im „Ruck-Zuck-Verfahren“.**
My current preferred option is to leave out all reference to the "Verfahren", and just say something like "Since 1975, the problem has been solved with a Z-folding." If anyone has an idea that's not to be sneezed at, I won't get sniffy about it. Failing that, if a whole lot of people tell me it's a good idea to omit it, I won't have to feel guilty about doing so.

I like your suggestion but would say Z-fold and not Z-folding. If you should want to hang anything onto it after Z-fold, I suggest the above.

as in something like 'the Z-fold technique lets you literally whip out a tissue...
Discussion
must tear open the package and pull out a new tissue and
unfold it so that the more lengthy procedure always misses
a quick oncoming sneeze and results in an embarrassing
mess. May the innovators of the new package roast in hell.
