Revision, Revisionszustand

German to English Tech/Engineering Electronics / Elect Eng Explosion protection
I need someone to explain what es meant by "Revision" in an electrical sense. The term occurs in the following contexts:

- Line [ V ] blau, Linienspannung zum Signalaustausch, Revision ca. 6 V, Betrieb ca. 9 V

- Im Revisionszustand werden die Auslösekondensatoren, zur Auslösung der Gasgeneratoren, entladen.

- Schlüsselschalter in Revision
Proposed translations (English)

Revisionszustand would then be ´during revision´

inspection, inspection state

In this context, 'Revision' in German is borrowed from French and means 'inspection' or (by extension) 'servicing'.

It does not mean 'revision' in the English sense of 'examined an altered'. or 'review/reviewed'.

See e.g. entry (c) in the Oxford/Duden dico.
