German term
ineinander greifend und aufeinander reagierend
German to English
Art/Literary
Art, Arts & Crafts, Painting
This is about an on-going exhibition of installation art, accommodated in a temporary toilet, portacabin, whatever.
for which I have:
"Until it ends at the end of June 2006, this “exhibition in progress” will display a variety of works and projects – not as a simple succession of separate exhibits, however, but as a group/series of interlocking works ... ###"
Can't think (yet) of a slick way of getting this across ... "interlocking" sounds a bit out of place here IMO
TIA

: sounds good - prefer "intertwining" to "overlapping"

Thank you! I agree - but I am not too sure how all this is to be handled in practice.

: I vote for overlapping as being more commonly used

Thank you! I think it's the context which makes the choice of a suitable word tricky.

interconnecting and inter-reacting
:-)

interweaving and interacting
is another alternative - although I'm sure the interacting can be improved upon
