Laut folgender Website ist "free air" Luft in "natürlichen" Bedingungen von Temperatur, Feuchtigkeit und atmosphärischem Druck an einem beliebigen Standort, also im Unterschied z. B. zu komprimierter Luft oder Luft, die anderen Veränderungen unterzogen wurde. In unserem Fall würde ich von "natürlichen Luftbedingugnen" sprechen.

sorry - it is air conditions not air conditioners:Filters would possibly operate at 500mm Hg against an external (free) pressure of 760mm.
