I could not find support for any of the other answers. I did find "hydrologic bands," but it was referring to radio frequencies. On the other hand, I found 113 good references to the terms above. Keep in mind, "banda" can mean "border" or "edge" (Martinez Amador). I do think this is the intent of what the text is referring to. The first reference talks about measuring the flow at each gauge station and the resulting profile.
