German term

Nachlauf nach Kl. 15 aus 10 Min.

German to English Tech/Engineering Automotive / Cars & Trucks
Powermanagement
• Ruhestrom < 300 µA
• Nachlauf nach Kl. 15 aus 10 Min. Der Nachlauf wird durch Bedienaktionen entsprechend
verlängert. Max Energieentnahme 2,2 Ah.
• Spannungsfestigkeit entspr. TL 80972 und TL 80101

This is from a description of an in-car GPS navigation system. I hope this is enough context. I am having trouble with the whole sentence and particularly the Kl. which appears in other parts of the document, e.g.
• Minimale galvanische Schnittstellen (nur KL. 30, 31 + 15)
I have only found a reference to clamps in my searches. Should this remain as Kl.?
All help on this point and the whole sentence GREATLY appreciated!

continues to run for 10 min after ignition (terminal 15) is turned off

Kl stands for Klemme, terminal. Terminal 15 is the supply voltage from/controlled by the ignition switch. The German sentence means that die unit will remain active for 10 minutes after 12 V DC on terminal 15 has been turned off.

explanation

Kl. 15 (i.e. Klemme 15) corresponds to ignition, if I remember well from my auotomotive time. Have you checked the glossary (although I am not sure you can search for two-letter words)? I'll try to dig it up for you

so basically Kl. 15 aus means ignition off
