English to Arabic Social Sciences Geography
we all know the term "اوراسيا" that means europe and asia together but how can be Australasia be translated in arabic? thanks in advance

آسيا الجنوبية

Literally Southern Asia, it includes:
Papua New Guinea, Australia, New Zealand and the nearby South Pacific Islands . In NZ, Australasia sometimes means just Australia and New Zealand. In sports and other competitions Australasian championship events are often held.

disagree Nesrin : Sorry to disagree after the question has been closed, but Australia & NZ are not Asia. The term literally means "south of Asia" i.e. places that lie south of Asia, not Southern Asia.
