German term

S+B-Markt

German to English Marketing Business/Commerce (general) Berlin
Description of an outdoor advertising site in Berlin. This bit is in the section on "Öffentliche Gebäude / Einrichtungen", but I'm stumped by this, even though it might be obvious. Please help! Is it a physical market or is it actually something that takes place at the ICC?

Congresscentrum (ICC)
Parkplatz / Parkhaus
Elektronik- / S+B- / Baumärkte
Fußgängerzone
Innenstadt / Altstadt
Autobahnnähe
Messenähe
U-Bahn / S-Bahn
Busbahnhof / ZOB
Ein- / Ausfallstraße
Gastronomie

Selbstbedienungsmarkt, supermarket

Was it S+B or just SB? SB stands for 'Selbstbedienung' - i.e. a supermarket.

thinking about it, \'cash and carry\' describes \'SB Markt\' even more accurately than \'supermarket\', but maybe it is too colloquial?

neutral BrigitteHilgner : careful: "cash & carry" does not have the same meaning as supermarket! Given the context, I would go for supermarket.

Schuhe und Bekleidung [=Modehaus]

Very low confidence, but if the "+" is really there and the original author has at least half a brain, it just can't be Selbstbedienung. Better ask your client, though.
