Hi ! This is from a list of house appliances; I have no further context, I am afraid... :( However, I do know that... ... wet/dry vacuums can pick up both dry (e.g. dust, ashes) and wet dirt (e.g. water or coffee spills.) The proposed answer, for which I am grateful, really, to me it implies that the vacuum comes with a device to clean the carpet/floor both by suction (στεγνός καθαρισμός) and by shampooing it (υγρός καθαρισμός). In my case, wet/dry refers to the spills, not the vacuum per se. I would appreciate all the help I can get and if I am off the mark, thank God for the "un-decline" function. :) Χίλια ευχαριστώ!!!

Additionally the translation proposed is smack right on target .. because it means that is does wet cleaning (to clean up spilt cofee or stains that are dried out) and dry (dust, mites etc)

Read my note, Eirini. If it does not refer to method, but to the different items it can cope with, you\'re better off using \"για υγρές και στεγνές επιφάνειες\" rather than, say, \"για υγρούς και στεγνούς λεκέδες\" or \"βρομιές\" or something equally unsavoury.

Το \"ξηρής και υγρής αναρρόφησης\" χρησιμοποιείται, ή θα έπρεπε να χρησιμοποιείται, με τη ίδια σημασία όπως το \"υγρού και στεγνού καθαρισμού\", δηλαδή περιγράφει τρόπο λειτουργίας, όχι το είδος της βρόμας που μαζεύει. Εξαρτάται από το πόσο βέβαιη είσαι για τον τρόπο λειτουργίας αυτής της σκούπας.
