Please, help to translate the word having been used by one of the Ukr. Diaspora rep: 'doochyty' into English.
Which of the other synonyms (uzrity, pozhledity, uvydity, vvydity, zauvazhyty, uhledity) are close in the meaning, and which will be the best English translation: note, notice, discern, belold, decry, espy, recognize, perceive or view?
Thank you, Ivan Petryshyn

Comment: "the conversational Ukr. word cannot be translated as scrutinize- the stylistic register is wrong! = pomityty= to notice would be better"

Тільки я б "дорихтував" її до "to have seen with one's own eyes".
