| | | | Bio: I was born in a small town in Taiwan and graduated from Department of English, National Chenchi University. In May, 2002, I graduated from MIIS with a master degree and professional certificate on Chinese/English Conference Interpretation, along with plenty of real-worl...d interpretation experiences in various conferences.
In addition to required interpretation courses, I also took economics and finance courses in MIIS, including International Economics, International Finance, Trade and Environment, US Trade Policy Workshop, and International Trade Negotiation Workshop.
Professional translation and interpretation skills were not the only expertise I acquired in MIIS; I also learned how to efficiently communicate and work with people from diversified cultural backgrounds.
From Nov, 2007 to Nov, 2008, I worked for Standard Chartered Bank (Taiwan) as a in-house translator/editor. I developed financial literacy and accumulated significant financial translation and editing experience through this job.
In Dec, 2008 I obtained the Certificate of Securities Specialist (Taiwan) by passing the exams of ﹤Securities Trading Regulations and Practice﹥ and ﹤Securities Investment and Financial Analysis﹥.
From March, 2009 to May 2010, I worked for Tax Department of Ernst and Young, Taiwan as an English editor and Chinese to English translator. Through this work experience, I developed considerable tax knowledge.
