Biografia

I obtained my Master's degree is in Applied Translation Studies from the University of Leeds, U.K., in 2004 and my Bachelor in Italian Language and Literature from the Aristotle Univeristy of Thessaloniki, Greece, in 2001. 

I have been employed by an insurance company from 2009 up to 2022, when I decided to leave my full-time job in order to pursue a career as a freelancer. Throughout my employment I have gained valuable experience translating numerous texts, ranging from financial reports and corporate documents (corporate policies, B.o.D. minutes etc.) to EU documents. Moreover I have been interpreting from and into Italian and Greek at the B.o.D. monthly meetings, facilitating the communication among shareholders. 

I have also succesfully completed an extensive training course in Subtitling, Captioning, Subtitling for the d/Deaf and hard of hearing and time-coding and I began offering my subtitling services in early 2023.
