60- Sa traduction a été dûment enregistrée auprès de l’INPI (notre pièce n° ).
61- Il est maintenu en vigueur par le paiement régulier des annuités (notre pièce n° ).
62- Ce brevet européen a été déclaré essentiel auprès de l’ETSI (notre pièce n° ), son enseignement étant, en effet, obligatoire pour les terminaux mobiles compatibles avec le système X (4G).

69- Examination thereof by the European Patent Office (EPO) raised no issue with respect to its validity as the examiner considered that: “the fact of providing only one timing advance value (TAV) for the uplink and downlink channels involved an inventive step” (our exhibit No. – international search report, chap. V 3 of December 29, 1999).
This European patent was not opposed before the EPO, although it is in a highly competitive area, which confirms that the covered invention is not objectionable.

I spent all my childhood in Canada brought up by French parents. I went to English school as I was raised in the English part of Montreal. At school, and with my friends and brothers and sister, I spoke English, at home I spoke French and when my grandmother visited us, I spoke Spanish… My parents returned to France when I turned 12. J’ai passé mon enfance au Canada auprès de parents français dans la partie anglaise de Montréal. J’ai fait ma scolarité dans une école anglaise. A l’école, et avec mes amis et frères et sœur, je parlais anglais, à la maison je parlais français et lorsque ma grand-mère nous rendait visite, je parlais espagnol… Mes parents sont rentrés en France un peu après mes douze ans.
