Source text - English NOTICE TO DEFENDANT: PLEA OF GUILTY IN ABSENCE
Please read this notice carefully
If you admit the offence referred to in the summons and do not wish to appear before the Court, it is open to you under section 12 of the Magistrates Courts Act 1980, to inform the Clerk of the Court in writing that you wish to plead guilty to the charge without appearing at Court in person.
If you decide to do this you should write to the Clerk in time for him to receive your reply AT LEAST SEVEN DAYS BEFORE THE DATE FIXED FOR THE HEARING in order to avoid unnecessary attendance of witnesses.
In writing to the Clerk you should mention any mitigating circumstances which you wish to have put before the Court. A form which you can use for writing to the Clerk is enclosed. If you write as mentioned, you are required to include a statement of your date of birth and sex.
If you send in a written plea of guilty, the enclosed Statement of Facts and your Statement in Mitigation will be read out in open court, before the Court decides whether to accept your plea, and hear and dispose of the case in your absence.
Unless the Court adjourns the case after accepting your plea and before sentencing you, the prosecution will not be permitted to make any statement about facts relating to the offence, other than in the Statement of Facts.

من فضلك اقرأ هذا الاخطار بعناية
اذا قمت بالاعتراف بالمخالفة المشار اليها في مستند الاستدعاء و لكن لا ترغب في المثول امام المحكمة فمن حقك , طبقا للمادة 12 من قانون المحاكم الابتدائية لعام 1980 , ان تبلغ كاتب المحكمة/ المستشار القانوني برغبتك في الاقرار بالذنب بدون المثول امام المحكمة شخصيا.
اذا قررت فعل ذلك فعليك ان تخاطب كاتب العدل في وقت مناسب حيث يستلم ردك قبل سبعة ايام على الاقل من التاريخ المحدد لجلسة الاستماع و ذلك لتجنب حضور الشهود بدون داعي.
و لابد ان تذكر في خطابك الى كاتب العدل اية ظروف تساعد على تخفيف الحكم ترغب في طرحها امام المحكمة. و مرفق اليكم استمارة يمكن استخدامها لمخاطبة كاتب العدل. و لابد ان تتضمن بيانا بتاريخ ميلادك و جنسك اذا قمت بمراسلة كاتب العدل كما هو مذكور.
في حال اقرارك بارتكاب الذنب كتابيا , فسوف تتم قراءة ( بيان الوقائع) المرفق و كذلك الافادة المقدمة منك لتخفيف الحكم بصوت عالٍ في المحكمة قبل ان تقرر المحكمة بقبول اعترافك و الاستماع و الحسم في قضيتك غيابيا لم لا.
لن يسمح للادعاء باعطاء اي افادة بخصوص اية وقائع ذات صلة بالجريمة غير تلك المذكورة في ( بيان الوقائع) الا اذا قامت المحكمة بتأجيل القضية بعد قبول اعترافك و قبل اصدار الحكم عليك.

Source text - English PARTICULARS OF INJURY
The Claimant sustained multiple injuries including: (a) a comminuted, displaced, closed fracture of the right femoral shaft extending into the knee joint; (b) a Gustilo Grade IIIA (open) comminuted, displaced fracture of the right tibial shaft and associated fracture of the fibula; (c) a possible intra-articular injury to the meniscus, the main ligaments of the knee or the joint surface; (d) a chest injury with probable rib fractures; (e) a fracture to the mandibular angle; (f) a fracture of the left mandibular angle; (g) a comminuted fracture of the left mandibular parasymphysis; (h) an undisplaced fracture of the right maxillary sinus; (i) facial lacerations; (j) a traumatic brain injury with symptoms including headache, confusion, total hearing loss in the right ear and tinnitus, memory and concentration impairment, insomnia and fatigue and an associated risk of seizure of about 2% per annum; and (k) a depressive episode of moderate severity in respect of which he remains on antidepressant medication.

أصيب المدعي بإصابات متعددة تتضمن :
أ) كسر داخلي منفصل و مفتت في عظم الفخذ الايمن و ممتدا الى مفصل الركبة
ب) كسرخارجي مفتت و منفصل من درجة جاستلو الثالثة (أ) في عظمة الظنبوب اليمنى و كسر مرافق له في الشظية.
ج) اصابة محتملة في الغضروف المفصلي او الاربطة الرئيسية للركبة او سطح المفصل.
د) اصابة في الصدر مع احتمال وجود كسر في احد الضلوع .
هـ) كسر في زاوية الفك السفلي .
و) كسر و تفتت في عظام الفك السفلى
ز) كسر غير منفصل في الجيب الفكي الايمن
ح) تمزقات بالوجه
ط) تلف بالمخ إثر الصدمة و اعراضه تتضمن : الصداع, و الارتباك , فقدان كامل للسمع بالاذن اليمنى مع وجود طنين , اعتلال في الذاكرة و التركيز , عدم القدرة على النوم , واعياء مصاحب بخطر حدوث تشنجات بنسبة 2% في العام .
ي) حالة من الاكتئاب متوسطة الحدة و التي بشأنها مازال المدعي يتناول ادوية مضادة للاكتئاب .
