Here are some of the events of note from this past week, leading up to International Translation Day:
- The fourth annual virtual event series for language professionals, with a week full of learning, discussion, networking and fun in translation. A big thanks to all of the speakers and attendees who have made these events a success since they started in 2009. If you registered for this year's event series and missed something, or would like to see something again, you can still go back and see all of the on-demand content (around 150 hours of it, I believe). - The 2012 State of the industry report for freelance translators was published. Thanks to all the professionals who shared their time and experience to help build this report, and for the excellent feedback since it has been released. State of the industry reports are published here >>
- ProZ.com translation contests are back! A new translation contest was launched. This "mini-contest" is being held on a new beta platform and the submission phase is open right now. Please stop by and participate and help bring contests back. You can see this translation contest here >>
Finally, on behalf of the team, I would like to thank all paying ProZ.com members for their membership investment, without which none of the above would have been possible, and extend a warm welcome to all of the new members who joined ProZ.com over the last week.

If you registered and attended any day, even briefly you will have access to all recordings/sessions/content/exhibit hall for 90 days
ProZ.com members have access to the recordings and on-demand content irrespective of their registration or attendance at the events
