Bio
Freelance Japanese-to-English translator since 1998; full-time since 2005.
While living in Kyoto, cut teeth translating technical manuals for packaging machines, working directly for a mid-size manufacturer. Later, worked at a small patent attorney's firm in Osaka, engaging in international outreach and communications, and began working as the main translator for a variety of art organizations, museums, galleries, publishers and artists.
(Please see my website for more information: Seth Yarden Translation)

Recent translation work includes a suspense novel (to be announced!), a wide variety of art exhibition catalogs and pamphlets, several artist's books, a DVD series of interviews of women pioneers, and three books on Buddhism.
