EDUCATION:
I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Interpreting and Translation at the University of Trieste and a Master's degree in Conference Interpreting and Specialized Translation at the International University of Rome.
Moreover, during my studies I had the opportunity to take technical and literary translation courses at the University of Utrecht, the Netherlands, with excellent results.
EXPERIENCE:
I am a journalistic translator at an international press agency working for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In addition to translating literary, technical, legal and marketing texts - the plurality of sectors is due to the combination with Dutch which, being a minor language, requires more flexibility - I currently organize seminars and workshops on translation from Dutch into Italian at the University of Trieste. I also collaborate with some Italian universities, such as La Sapienza in Rome, on academic translation projects.
