I have a degree in English Philology and another degree in English Translation and Interpretation. After I finished my last degree I did an extracurricular internship in Murcia Cultural S.A. traslating audiovisual and subtittled material as well as other art and media texts.
Until now I've been working as an English Teacher in both language academies and private lessons. Last November I registered as a freelance translator and I'm working for my boyfriend's company translating and getting into contact with his clients by email or phone.
Now I'm also studying a Master in Publishing Translation at Murcia University, which in Spain is know as Máster de Traducción Editorial (MUTE). Besides, I'm studying Russian and Chinese with the aim of getting all the necessary training to work as a translator on these languages too.
Other languages I know are Italian, French and German, though my specialization area is English. However, during my degree in English Translation and Interpretation I was studying Law and Business Italian. |
