I have been working as a freelance translator and interpreter since 1991. The translations provided to my clients (mostly multinational companies can be divided into 3 areas:
1) Technical translations – manuals for various equipment and machinery used in production; specific product / operation manuals; test reports; internal standards and procedures; Quality Policy Manual; SAP and Oracle software (i- Procurement) – user manuals
2) Environment, Safety and Health (ESH) – guidelines, audits (GIBB and ERM companies); MSDS´s; 5S training + implementation
3) Human Resources – Collective Agreement, employment contracts; Employee Development Program (EDP) - guidelines, contracts; various legal documents; trainings when new programs have been introduced, e.g. SMART, plus translations of associated documents; communication with Trade Union.
