Source text - English Alongside these larger actions there are actions that may be called common only because they are being constantly performed by many people all over the world. They are not and never were unimportant. Thus the preparing and eating of a breakfast, a bath, looking at bookstalls, wandering round the town, looking in shop windows, buying odds and ends of things in shops, lunch, a stroll through a museum, short talk in the street, the singing of a few songs, a practical joke, stray drinks here and there: all the things, in short, that somebody is doing all the time and everybody does sometimes. If the experience is common why does Joyce narrate it? Because he is building with an infinite number of pellets of this clay of common experience the character of Leopold Bloom.
Translation - Italian Accanto a questi eventi di maggior risonanza si verificano azioni che potremmo definire comuni soltanto perché vengono costantemente svolte da molte persone in tutto il mondo. Azioni che non sono e non sono mai state insignificanti. Ciò vale per una colazione, preparata e consumata, un bagno, un' occhiata tra le bancarelle dei libri, una passeggaita senza meta in città, uno sguardo alle vetrine, l'acquisto di cianfrusaglie, un pranzo, una visita ad un museo, brevi conversazioni per la strada, qualche canzone canticchiata, una burla, qualche bevuta qua e là: insomma tutte le cose che in ogni istante qualcuno sta facendo e che ognuno fa ogni tanto. Se si tratta di esperienze comuni perché Joyce le racconta? Perche dalll'esperienza comune come dall'argilla egli estrae le infinite palline con cui plasma il carattere di Leopold Bloom.

Source text - Italian Mais la grande roue, elle a tourné quasi jour et nuit, toujours les mêmes paliers en bronze qu’il fallait aller graisser avec la burette ! Tous les jours ! Les mêmes courroies, en cuir, elles sont plus que centenaires. C’est des études qu’ont été faites déjà il y a très longtemps, sur ces mécanismes, c’est intéressant à voir que actuellement il y a même des ingénieurs qui viennent voir pour refaire des calculs. Il y en a un qui m’a dit une fois qu’ils avaient perdu les calculs et qu’ils voulaient les refaire ! Sur les diamètres des axes, sur les vitesses. Et puis, quand on regarde ce qui a été fait, il y a 100 ou 200 ans, c’était génial !

Tourism in the field...
In 2005 I took a Degree in Translation at the School for Interpreters and Translators of Forli, SSLMIT, University of Bologna, Italy.
A couple of years later I became an authorized tourist guide for Umbria region and authorized tour leader specilized in Ireland tours.
Tourism in translation...
My desire after some years was to transform my experience in the field of tourism as specilization in translation.
My philosophy?
Translation is not - always - an automatic, extremely quick and cold process: my customers and collaborators are first of all people with their professional values and their needs. This doesn't mean that I don't recognize the fundamental importance of reliability and punctuality!
