I was freelancing in Morocco during the childcare era, and we used to have a multi-tasking maid at the time. Grand-parents were on another continent.
Here in Spain, we still have a cleaning lady a few hours a week.
I'll think about the driver, the cook, the mistress and the body guard after MT has made me insanely rich.

a valid and possible option is missing: none of the above for various reasons. One, I'm far too old for such a problem (my son has been having his career already for long), two, when I had my son, I was still very far from becoming a freelancer, except for giving private language classes. Three: I have nobody to worry about around me. Real life is a lot more varied than such simple options make it seem.
