Could we take into consideration the domicile of each participant and then find a suitable meeting place?

Bernard is right. I live in the Negev and am fed up of being treated as the 'poor relative from the countryside'. The nearer to Rakevet Tsafon train station- the better.

Can I come with mu husband? I hate travelling alone in the evening. Besides, he is a great help to me in my translating activities.

Why not! absolutely yes Nov 24, 2006

Dear Olga, I dont know if I am speaking in the name of all the potential participants, but it would seem rare if each of us did not come with their spouses. Lets make the meeting worth remembering.

If someone knows of a place near Rakevet Zafon, that will hopefully be convenient for everyone.

Cafe Henrietta near Rakevet Tsafon Nov 24, 2006

This is a great coffee shop within walking distance of Rakevet Tsafon. We often go there - it's on the corner of Arlozorov and Henrietta Szold.

Is the correct spelling of the name. I saw many misspellings of the name. Sounds not to far from the RW station. Jerusalem is not my preferred option.
Why doesn't someone (the organizer) tell us which subjects does he want us to prepare in advance for discussion? some ideas will pop up during the meeting, but the best is to be prepared. Improvisation is not always the best way to go about things.

Desert fox is not alone; I am also in the Negev -- with a 45 minute bus ride to the central train station in Be'er-Sheva. I don't think managers will appreciate it if we take over an entire cafe for discussions, etc. Just some thoughts.Collapse

Sorry for the typos -- cataracts... and that's what may keep me from coming. eye surgery should be scheduled right about then. I sure hope that I can make it.
