Ich arbeite seit 1997 freiberuflich als Literarische Übersetzerin für Random House. Mein Schwerpunkt liegt auf Unterhaltungsromanen und Kinder- und Jugendbüchern. Außerdem übersetze ich Artikel für Zeitschriften, private Dokumente, Werbekampagnen für Städte u.v.m.

I have been working freelance as a Literary Translator for Random House for twenty years now. The best-known authors I have translated so far are Rachel Gibson (Romance), Faye Kellerman (Detective Novel), Olivia Goldsmith and Joyce Carol Oates ("The Rise of Life on Earth"). I also translated a best seller (more than 100 000 sold copies) by Jessica Adams, "Single White E-Mail" (ChickLit).
Apart from that, I do short stories, articles for magazines, private documents (e.g. letters), publicity campaigns for cities, everyday texts etc.
