Beekeeping is my passion but I also work as a home tutor and sporadically as a translator.
I am currently working as a home tutor teaching English to Galician/Spanish speaking students of various ages and with different purposes. I also do some translating work for individuals (students, teachers)
When I was living in London, I worked as a supply teacher for around ten years, home tutor,invigilator, administrative clerk and market researcher. Later on I did my DPSI at Goldmiths University as I was doing some voluntary work for charities such as IRMO and I move from teaching into interpreting until I decide to come back to Galiza.
By that time, I used to work mainly for hospitals,clinics and solicitors, but I have also worked with social workers and job centres.
My combination of languages is Spanish-English, English-Spanish and Portuguese-Spanish.
I am familiar with different CAT tools such as Wordfast and OmegaT.
I also have previous experience translating medical literature and many other source material:it manual, agricultural literature, subtitles for documentaries, formal letters,etc.
But what I am enjoying the most at the moment is subtitling videos about Nature and environment.
