I have lived in the US and Scandinavia for most of my life. I have degrees from Oslo University, and a PhD. in English from the University of Rhode Island.

Previous translation work includes medical and surgical supplies, hospitality, voice mail systems, computer software localization, journalism, search engine optimization, web site and literary translation.

I also have experience as a project manager at a leading translation company in Boston, Massachusetts.

Technical capabilities include Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and Trados.

An extensive collection of specialized dictionaries and references helps ensure quality control.
