Source text - English The outbreak of disease in people caused by a new swine influenza virus continues to grow in the United States and internationally.
An investigation and response effort surrounding the outbreak of swine flu is ongoing. The Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) is working with local, state and international health officials on investigations into these cases.
At this time, the recommendations for swine influenza disease prevention and control are essentially the same as for annual
influenza season, and include:
• Frequent hand washing
