Senior native French-speaking translator

I have been living with my family since 1997 in the Lisbon district.

Portugal is such a great place to live in and enjoy!

I have been working as a freelance translator since 2000. I also taught French as a foreign language for Portuguese students and adults untill 2007.

The main languages I translate are English, Dutch and Portuguese.

My 20 year translation experience includes Architecture, Public Works, Construction, Heritage Conservation, Design, Marketing, Advertising, amongst many other domains.

I graduated in Journalism-Communication (IHECS, Brussels) and then in Translation (FLUL Lisbon University). 

I also studied Law and Heritage Conservation. At school, I had Latin and ancient Greek. 

My education in Journalism made me familiar with the clarity and legibility  requirements in written communication, and I still use the skills needed to achieve those goals in my daily work in order to ensure quality results for my client’s communication needs.   


My personnal interests include music practice, art and etymology.
