Translation - English KDDI R&D laboratories Inc., (Head office: Fujimino city, Saitama prefecture, chief representative director: Shigeyuki Akiba) and I Bee Inc.,(Itabashi-ku, Tokyo, Chief operating officer: Akira Hondo)have now jointly developed a commercial type two-legged walking robot with face detection-recognition function for education and hobby use.
The robot that has been developed can automatically detect human faces from images recorded through a CCD camera, change its walking direction and walk towards the direction of the detected face with its two legs. It can also verify that the face of the person in front of the camera coincides with the one in the recorded image.
The face detection-recognition system loaded on this robot uses technology that was originally developed by KDDI for its usage on cell phones. There have been robots loaded with face recognition system before, but the person (to be recognized) was constrained to face the direction of the robot and also interactions between the robot and human took a lot of time. In addition, results of these face recognition systems suffered from problem of deterioration due to the influence of light fluctuations. But in this robot, face recognition has been made possible by automatically detecting the direction of the person through high speed and highly accurate face detection-recognition system without being influenced by light fluctuations.
Standard type 8 bit CPU (in every control), and newly developed high torque in the actuator have been used. I Bee Inc., has developed a technology that integrates two-legged walking robot , face recognition system and mobile phone technology on to the commercial type 8-bit CPU.
Through the high speed high precision face recognition system of KDDI and through the stabilized control by I Bee Inc.,’s 8 bit CPU, popularity and cost reduction of 2-legged walking robot will be materialized.
The two-legged walking robot that has been developed will be displayed in the 9th ROBO-ONE exhibition to be held in Panasonic center- Tokyo (koto, Tokyo) from 17th of March to 19th of March.

With today’s rising costs of data Center build out to meet the growing demands of business, IT departments need better alternatives to expensive, inflexible RISC-based infrastructures.
Proprietary architectures are costly to acquire, maintain, and operate, with high-priced licensing fees, service agreements, and repair or replacement. The limited number of vendors supplying these systems means limited choices for the most effective business solutions that keep businesses agile and flexible enough to respond quickly to new opportunities as they arise. The high-cost, lack of choice, and inflexibility of RISC-based infrastructures can significantly degrade competitive advantage and slow business momentum.
Based on industry standards, our solutions provide more hardware, software, and OS choices with greater interoperability than proprietary RISC-based systems, resulting in more flexibility to optimize a solution for a company’s unique business needs

Iam basically an engineer specialised in this language too. I have been doing this translation alone for more than 4 years and with my father(who is also a translator) . I have been known in this field to finish the assigned job in the specified time and i have always come up with the best translation.
