Bio

My name is Dagmar and I am a freelance translator/proof-editor/copywriter since 1999. Before I worked as a translator in a publishing house where I translated game related magazines.


Please also contact me for game localizations, adult content and any translations targeting kids and teenager (I fostered teenagers for more than 10 years and like to keep up to date with the lingo).



Over the years did a lot of transcreations (for social media and TV), I translated 3 biographies, 1 aromatherapy book and two cookery books, and many, many game-books - all subjects I enjoy. I don´t enjoy legal/financial/dry content though.


For HUGE projects I am working together with my friend and colleague Elke Lackermeier. We call ourselves the Business Valkyries and we have a network of "Valkyries" (all qualified translators and proz.com members).
