Source text - Czech Koncept Brno International Business School
1.Koncept by měl mít logickou strukturu, slučitelnou s organizační strukturou a procesy strategického řízení.
2.Hierarchický model strategického řízení je zpravidla výhodou, dává zejména v podmínkách větších firem komplikovanému problému tvorby strategie průhlednou a srozumitelnou strukturu, vytváří podmínky pro efektivní dělbu práce a komunikaci mezi členy týmu zabývajícího se formulací strategií a celkově pro zvládnutí komplikovaných problémů spojených se strategickým řízením.
3.Koncept by měl respektovat přirozený průběh strategického řízení, zejména pak zásadu, že strategické řízení má probíhat „shora - dolů“, přitom by ale měly být zohledňovány i názory navazujících nižších úrovní řízení. Rozhodování by měla být distribuována na správné úrovně.
4.Z konceptu by měly vyplývat požadavky na potřebné analytické informace (například by mělo být jasno, jaké analýzy bude třeba provádět, z jakých informačních zdrojů by měly být informace získávány).
5.Model strategického řízení by měl být otevřený, měl by umožnit pružně reagovat na vývoj podnikání firmy a přizpůsobovat mu i procesy strategického řízení; například vznik nového či útlum existujícího oboru podnikání, restrukturalizace firmy, atd., by neměly činit z metodologického hlediska problémy.
6.Koncept by měl umožnit zapojení všech článků strategického řízení do procesu formulace strategií podle jejich úrovně a odbornosti, měli by se zde uplatnit generalisté i specialisté.
7.Koncept by měl vytvářet dobré podmínky pro následnou realizaci strategií (například zapojením manažerů všech úrovní do procesu tvorby strategií – když se nižší články na formulaci strategie přímo podílejí, snadněji ji realizují).
8.Koncept lze v případě potřeby pragmaticky přizpůsobovat konkrétním podmínkám.
Translation - English Strategy concept according to Brno International Business School
1. The concept should have a logical structure, compatible with the organisational structure and the strategic management processes.
2. Usually, a hierarchical model of strategic management is of advantage. In larger companies it gives the complicated problem of strategy formulation a transparent and comprehensible structure; it creates conditions of efficient division of labour and communication among the members of the team responsible for strategy formulating, and overall it creates positive environment for mastering complicated problems connected with strategic management.
3. The concept should respect the natural course of strategic management, especially the principle that strategic management should go „from top – to the bottom“, whereby also the opinions of the lower management levels should be listened to
and respected. The decisions should be distributed to the appropriate levels.
4. Requirements for necessary analytical information should follow from the strategic
concept. It should be clear what type of analyses will be conducted, what types of resources will be used to get the information needed.
5. The strategic management model should be open. It should enable the company to react fast to any situation in the development of the business. It should also enable adaptation of the strategic management processes to business development. Therefore, for example, the rise of a new industry field or decline of an existing
field of business should not pose a problem from the methodological point of view.
6. The concept should enable the involvement of all elements of the strategic management into the process of strategy formulation in accordance with their level of expertise. Both generalists and experts should be of use.
7. The concept should create good conditions for consequential implementation of the strategies (for example by the involvement of managers of all levels into the process of strategy creation – when the lower elements directly take part in the
formulation of strategy, it is then easier for them to implement it).
8. The concept can be, if needed, pragmatically adapted to concrete / specific conditions.
