Maßnahme 2: Mit Bestho all in one tief abdichten
Bestho all in one ist dauerhaft.
Translation - English The floors of your animal enclosures are easier to clean and are safer for your animals
Don’t let mold, mould stains and bacteria grow on your enclosure floors
Minimize annoying odors – Maybe you are already used to them, but your visitors will notice
Put your animal enclosures in order – It does not matter if the concrete is old or new, in closed spaces or in the open
Minimize irritation of skin and paws by avoiding new concrete to become acidic
Save time and money by speedier cleaning
Protect your animals from diseases – Remove the breeding grounds “within” the concrete, where harmful mold and bacteria grow
Your animals should feel good and be healthy – They should not lie down on damp or wet concrete
Prolong the durability of your outdoor kennel floors – by inhibiting damage, shedding, the forming of pores and dust build-up
A non-toxic, lasting, odor free solution – guaranteed 100 % environmentally friendly, safe for animals and humans alike
Protect your animals and make the cleaning of the enclosures fast and easy
Do you know that the concrete floors in your enclosures are perfect breeding grounds for fungus and mold? Concrete is a porous material that acts just like a sponge. When liquids are spilled, they “creep” deep into the concrete. These damp pores are the perfect breeding ground for bacteria, fungus and mold. You can get rid of this unhealthy situation once and for all.
How do you prevent dangerous bacteria from growing in the enclosure?
Bestho eliminates the breeding ground for bacteria in your enclosure floor, because it won’t let dampness penetrate the concrete anymore. The enclosures become safer for the animals, are easier to clean and urine does not penetrate the concrete anymore.
Even your animals do not want to lie on cold, damp concrete anymore
Maybe you have not tried that for yourself yet. I mean, to lie on concrete. But your animal spend hours like that. Even concrete that does not look wet is generally damp due to the wetness that sucks up through the concrete.
Concrete sucks up dampness from 6-7 m below the surface. That means that concrete always contains dampness. After it rained or after the kennel has been cleaned, dampness is still inside the concrete, long after the surface has dried.
Laying down on a constantly damp and cold foundation leads to pains and worsens these. When concrete is damp – even if the surface looks dry – it does not warm up underneath the animal. The animals feel much better and escape the dangers stemming from damp concrete, when their body heat warms their bed.
The application of bestho all-in-one and bestho PLUS prevents the concrete from sucking up dampness from the underground and prevents the dampness to stay in the concrete. Treat the concrete, so that dampness cannot penetrate, not from above and not from below. The animals will feel much more comfortable.
In zoo enclosures, oftentimes the paint flakes and the coverings come loose
The usual procedure is the cleaning of the kennels either with toxic waterproofing components or with paint. In the end, the paint flakes. Then you are forced to remove even the paint that has not flaked yet, and to paint the whole thing again. That is expensive, cumbersome and timely. Save yourself a lot of trouble and money and make it easier on yourself.
Bestho offers without a doubt the most effective, easiest and longest lasting way to keep the floors and turn-outs in perfect condition. Expensive maintenance with surface covers or paint, the usual manner of protecting kennel floors, belongs to the past.
Never again slip on slimy, damp, covered floors.
All surface coverings, whether paint, acrylic sealants or epoxies cause the floor to become slippery and dangerous, especially when wet.
In the end they flake off and you have the trouble and cost of replacement
Bestho eliminates these annoying and expensive problems guaranteed. It is the perfect connection between easy cleaning and less slipperiness than the usual coverings.
Zoo enclosures have already had great experiences with this. Floors that were treated with bestho are not as slippery as any of the other floors.
The concrete is waterproofed internally and with bestho all-in-one. Flaking, peeling and decomposition do not occur any more. The concrete does not suffer from the changing of frost to thaw any more. Furthermore, the internal application is effective unlimitedly and does not need to be renewed.
Bestho all-in-one cannot be attacked by harmful chemicals.
Bestho all-in-one strengthens the concrete, increases the pressure resistance by 25% after 30 days. “Internal” means that the product does not stay in the top few millimeters. That thin layer will be filled with bestho PLUS.
If you want to paint a floor or construct on top of the floor, do so immediately over the bestho all-in-one. The product increases the adhesiveness of a cover by a minimum of 300 %. This immensely important result stems from bestho all-in-one’s prevention of the dampness to react with the alkali in the floor. Such a reaction is the main cause for coverings to peel.
However, if you prefer the look of paint, use bestho PLUS. If you want to paint the floor, you definitely need bestho PLUS, which maximizes the paint result and prevents peeling.
The water pearls and bestho PLUS lasts many years. Since it penetrates, it does not peel and does not need to be scraped off before any maintenance is performed. You can plan for at least five years in advance, before you even have to think about re-applying bestho PLUS. Even under extreme industrial use and daily cleaning with harsh chemicals, bestho PLUS stands the test of time. If re-application is due, only the usual cleaning is necessary. You do not need to scrape off the rest of the previous application. You only apply some more bestho PLUS. However, we guarantee that it will take years and years before you even have to think about that.
Neither bestho all-in-one nor bestho PLUS change the look of the concrete. The floors do not become slippery, like those with paint or surface coverings.
How is bestho applied?
Bestho is an easy, 3-step procedure for the complete treatment of concrete floors and turn-outs in the enclosures. Every delivery includes complete and easy to understand instructions.
Step 1: Cleaning
The first step is an extensive cleaning and disinfecting of the concrete. This can be done with a garden hose and a usual cleaning or disinfecting agent. Afterward, the concrete has to be rinsed thoroughly. You do not have to wait for the concrete to be dry, before proceeding to step 2.
A test on the kennel floor is important, so you know that bestho all-in-one can have its full effect.
To test, spill some water to determine whether it sinks in. If it does sink in, then bestho all-in-one will also sink in and therefore all the advantages are secured. If previous sealants or paint prevent the water from penetrating, all those substances must be removed before applying bestho all-in-one. Please contact us for more information on how to remove the old coverings/sealants.
Step 2: Seal internally with bestho all-in-one
Then it is time to stabilize the concrete and to fill the internal microscopic pores of the concrete with bestho all-in-one. The product can be brushed on, rolled on or sprayed on, or even poured on and distributed. Bestho all-in-one is long lasting. It does not need to be re-applied to the concrete surface. When it comes into contact with the alkali in the concrete, it builds a silicon gel that penetrates deep into the concrete through hairline effects. When this gel dries, it becomes as hard as glass within the concrete.
Step 3: Seal the surface
This is the last step in the enclosure. Wait until the concrete is completely dry. (Let it dry for at least 24 hours, or, in damp climates, even longer)
It is now time to seal the surface layer of the concrete with bestho PLUS. The application is the same as with bestho all-in-one. As soon as the application is dry, your animals are protected against bacteria, fungus and mold, and the enclosure is much easier to clean.
Bestho all-in-one (Step 2) is best applied on damp concrete.
Bestho PLUS (Step 3) MUST be applied to DRY concrete
