Translation work for various language
agencies in the UK, US and Europe. Subject matter ranged from legal documents
to banking, financial & business documentation to complex scientific &
medical documents such as patents, reports and operational manuals and a myriad
of media subject matter. Other services provided is interpreting (simultaneous,
conference & consecutive), I work with Al Jazeera, CNN and the BBC in
providing voice over and simultaneous & consecutive interpreting and
editing and subtitling work. In addition to translation, I provide desktop
publishing services.

I have project managed several defence and
military projects whereby I assigned roles and responsibilities to
subordinates, established a style guide and glossary of terminology; set up
problem solving procedures and escalation action for unexpected issues. I
translated documentation, manuals and software and assisted with instruction on
the same via simultaneous interpreting in training courses. I also undertook
project management role

I
have also worked with the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI)
from 2007-2015 and translated and typeset all their diver training manuals, and
other publications. I am a certified scuba & technical diving instructor by
the British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC), the National Association of Underwater
Instructors (NAUI), Technical Diving Instructors (TDI) and Scuba Diving
Instructors (SDI) organisations. I’m also a certified Diver Medic Technician
(DMT) and qualified to instruct in Emergency First Response (EFR), Cardio
Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid. I have been diving in the UK for
25 years.
