I studied German Language and Literature with subsiduary Music at Birmingham University, where I received an Honours degree. I then went on to compelete the Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PCSE) to teach German.

Since then, I have taught German in UK schools up to A-Level for around 20 years, and also English in a German "Gesamtschule".

I have run IT departments for around 15 years, during which time I have had experience of a wide range of computer software, operating systems, networks, hardware and peripherals.

I am now working as a local authority IT consultant, supporting IT developments in over 260 schools in the Worcestershire (UK) area.
