I work full-time as a Translator/Parent Facilitator for a public school in North Carolina. I work with Hispanic parents daily on educational, medical, legal, and personal topics. I translate all of the school's manuals and all other paperwork that is sent home.
I also translate advertisements into Spanish for a local newspaper, have translated forms for local Doctors, interpreted for Doctors and patients, and have worked as an interpreter on several trips to Mexico and Central America. I am familiar with the different language usages from Mexico all through Latin America and Spain.
I have been professionaly trained as a Spanish Interpreter for health and human services by NCAHEC by completing Interpreter Training Levels I & II in Wilmington, NC.
I frequently work as a free-lance interpreter in health-care environments.
