European Language Centre is a full-service language company operating out of central Sweden and Los Angeles. We offer translation, interpretation, proofreading and editing services as well as language education.

European Language Centre specializes in English courses and Swedish to English translations, but we also offer quality services in a number of other languages and language pairs. Our clients include such prestigious names as Stora Enso, Samhall and Fortum AB as well as several governmental offices and organizations in Sweden. Through collaboration with other agencies, our translators have also performed translations for Sida, Adidas, Autoliv, Bayer Health Care and many more.

Thanks to a low overhead and efficient managerial practices, we are able to keep our prices low. Our fees for translations range from 9-11 cents per source word, editing from 5-6 cents per word and proofreading from 4-5 cents per word. Proofreading is included free of charge with all translations. "Reverse" proofreading is also available in Swedish-English combinations. This means that after the text has been translated and proofread, it will then be edited by a translator working in the reverse language pair. This special form of editing ensures the utmost accuracy and precision and is a must for highly technical or sensitive texts. Reverse editing may be purchased for a fee of one extra cent per word, and is included free of charge on many translation projects.

For our clients in central Sweden, European Language Centre also offers a wide range of language courses in English, Swedish, German and Spanish. All our courses are taught my highly qualified native speakers, and start at 350 SEK an hour.
