Born in the USA, I have long since made
Germany my home. My professional career began as a registered nurse – hence the specialty field Medicine.

Deciding to make something out of being
bilingual, I took the state exams to become a certified interpreter /
translator. In order to broaden my portfolio, I also became a sworn interpreter
/ translator here in Germany and a member of the BDÜ. My one-woman business has
since then flourished and I offer interpreting services for all instances from conferences,
to seminars, workshops, factory audits and also weddings. Translation jobs that
I have taken on include e.g. websites, reports, advertising, catalogues and all
kinds of documents, also those requiring certification. My motto for any job is
“A good translation is a matter of trust” – it goes without saying that
confidentiality is top ranking.
