XXX is 93% protein bound and while it has the potential to interact with similarly highly protein bound drugs, no displacement interaction with warfarin has been observed in vitro.

All'inizio del trattamento i pazienti dovrebbero essere ricoverati in ospedali o cliniche con adeguate attrezzature di laboratorio. Le alte dosi di XXX devono essere impiegate soltanto da medici qualificati e in ambiente ospedaliero (preferibilmente in reparti oncologici). I pazienti che mostrano un ritardo nella fase di eliminazione precoce del XXX hanno piu' probabilita' di sviluppare un'insufficienza renale oligurica irreversibile; in aggiunta ad un'appropriata terapia con calcio l-folinato, questi pazienti richiedono una continua idratazione e alcalinizzazione delle urine e un monitoraggio stretto dello stato dei fluidi e degli elettroliti, fino a che i livelli sierici di XXX non siano scesi sotto le 0,05 mcmoli/l e l'insufficienza renale non si sia risolta; se necessario, in questi pazienti puo' essere utile un'emodialisi intermittente con un dializzatore ad alto flusso.
