I am a freelance translator specializing in translations and proofreadings from English to Czech and vice versa.
I have been translating/proofreading all kinds of texts in the last 9 years (from personal correspondence to international agreements).
However, I specialize in the European Union documents (regulations, directives, agreements, reports, analyses, press releases, diary notes and web pages) concerning administrative and legal affairs, social policy, trade, education, environment, agriculture and fisheries, health care and industry. I have translated the European Parliament documents such as draft opinions, reports, minutes, motions for a resolution, reports and amendments.
I have been working for various translation agencies in the Czech Republic and abroad (Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands). All these agencies have signed contracts with EU institutions (e.g. European Commission and its Directorates, European Parliament) to provide quality translations.
