As someone who wants to be the best at what they do, I've always taken advantage of every opportunity that comes my way to learn more and grow. Having chosen the path that lead me to discover myself as an academic, cultural studies expert, social anthropologist and interpreter, I found myself able to make a difference and create new perspectives not only for myself but also the people around me. My educational experience was very fulfilling both on an academic and personal level; when you study medicine you become a doctor, when you study engineering you become an engineer, when you study law you become a lawyer, but I cannot define in one word what I've become because I chose to study cultural studies. Cultural studies is a field full of potential and combines both the past and the present at the same time : it makes you jump from literature to science to history and geography to city studies , anthropology, translation and interpretation, music, art.. you name it. That's why I found myself obsessed with this field and eager to learn and teach more everyday. Apart from that, I'm a language guru; I enjoy learning new languages as I'm a very passionate fast learner and I certainly have put that in good use as I perceived my interpretation and translations studies journey. I love a good push, that's why I work best under pressure; a deadline can get my aadrenaline flowing like a volcano giving its best. And because academic studies are not always fun, I like to balance my sanity with a little creative writing. I can safely say that writing scripts is my favorite kind of writing and I aspire to be a well appreciated writer someday. And of course a well known conference interpreter. |
