My name is Chantal, Italian-French Interpreter, and translator.

My two languages (and cultures) have deeply influenced me, as my passion for foreign languages and cultural diversity has always been the focus of my educational background:
• I graduated high school as "𝘽𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙞𝙜𝙣 𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙪𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙨" with EN, FR, DE.
• I got my BD in "𝘼𝙥𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙙 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙪𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙘 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣" with FR, RU, DE, PT at the Interpreting School in Trieste.
• I completed my studies at the Interpreting School with my MD in "𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜" with the combination IT (A), FR (B), DE (C) and PT as an optional language. I have been working on my English (C) as I would love to work with this language as well.

▶ The main focus during my studies has been on 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 during my MD, and on 𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 during my BD.

• I'm interested in subtitling as well: I took part in seminars and I'm currently working as volunteer subtitler for TedTalks via the Amara Subtitle Editor.
• I have some experience as translator and proofreader at a French journal.
