Source text - English ADVIK was sitting on his bed, drinking milk from his favorite cup...
When his mother asked him -
“ADVIK, what do you wish to be when you grow up?”
ADVIK thinks for a while and then says,
“I wish to be a......I don’t have a clue!
But I want to do what you and Papa do.”
The mother smiles and says,
“Let me give you a magical book,
From a doctor to an engineer, you can have a look.”
ADVIK was a little surprised but finally agreed,
He opened the book and started to read.
ADVIK, do you wish to be an ACTOR?
One who was born to do nothing but act!
Be it Drama, Action or Comedy,
You will leave an ever lasting impact!
ADVIK, do you wish to be an ARCHITECT?
One who makes buildings, both big and small!
Come what may - earthquakes or storms,
What you make will always stand tall!
Translation - Bengali আদ্ভিক তার বিছানায় বসে তার প্রিয় কাপটি থেকে দুধ খাচ্ছিল...
যখন তার মা তাকে জিজ্ঞাসা করলেন-
"আদ্ভিক, তুমি বড়ো হয়ে কী হতে চাও?"
আদ্ভিক কিছুক্ষণ ভেবে বলল,
"আমি হতে চাই....... আমি জানি না!
কিন্তু তুমি এবং বাবা যা কর আমি তাই করতে চাই। "
তার মা হেসে বলল,
"চলো আমি তোমাকে একটা যাদুর বই দিচ্ছি,
ডাক্তার থেকে ইঞ্জিনিয়ার হতে চাইলে, তুমি দেখতে পার"
আদ্ভিক একটু অবাক হয়েছিল কিন্তু শেষ পর্যন্ত রাজি হয়েছিল,
সে বইটি খুলল এবং পড়তে শুরু করল।
আদ্ভিক, তুমি কি একজন অভিনেতা হতে চাও?
যার জন্ম হয়েছে শুধু অভিনয় করার জন্য অন্য কিছু নয়!
এটা নাটক হতে পারে, অভিনয় অথবা মজা,
তুমি একটি স্থায়ী প্রভাব ফেলতে পারবে!
আদ্ভিক,তুমি নির্মানকারী হতে চাও?
একজন যে ভবন তৈরি করে বড়ো এবং ছোটো!
যা আসুক - ভূমিকম্প অথবা ঝড়,
তুমি যেটা তৈরি করবে সেটা সবসময় লম্বা হয়ে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকবে!
