Source text - Arabic تشتعل المظاهرات والاحتجاجات في 40 ولاية أميركية بعد مقتل المواطن الاميركي من أصول أفريقية جورج فلويد على يد الشرطة، وهو ما أثار الغضب الذي يتابعه العالم هذه الأيام في أكبر دولة وهي الولايات المتحدة التي توصف بأم الديمقراطية في العالم، لكن ماذا فعلت الديمقراطية في الولايات المتحدة؟ وإلى أين يتجه المشهد الأميركي؟.
بلاشك، فإن ما يحدث اليوم في الولايات المتحدة نتيجة الديمقراطية التي كانت تتخذها الإدارات الأميركية السابقة حجة للهجوم على الدول العربية واسقاط أنظمتها، واليوم تعاني أميركا من هذه الديمقراطية التي أدت إلى الفوضى، وعمليات النهب، والسلب التي تشهدها الولايات الأميركية، والتي حدثت في العالم العربي ابان ثورات الخراب العربي التي كانت برعاية نظام الملالي بالتنسيق مع ادارة الرئيس الأميركي السابق اوباما. مقتل مواطن اميركي على يد الشرطة جريمة بلاشك، ولا أحد يختلف ان الشرطي الذي قتل جورج فلويد مذنب، ويستحق المحاكمة لانها جريمة، لكن لا احد يرضى بالفوضى، وعمليات السرقة والتخريب للاقتصاد التي تحدث في أكثر من ولاية اميركية رغم تعهد الرئيس الاميركي ترامب بمحاكمة الشرطي، وتحقيق العدالة. الديمقراطية سلاح ذو حدين ولها انياب، وغالبا تؤدي إلى الفوضى لان هيبة الدولة تسقط مع خروج البلطجية، والفوضويين، والمجرمين تحت مظلة الديمقراطية، وهذا ما أدركته الولايات المتحدة اليوم التي ساندت الإرهابيين، والفوضويين في العالم العربي، وكانوا دائما يستقوون بمساندة الادارت الأميركية لهم، ويرفضون تطبيق القانون، وهيبة الدولة لانهم لايريدون دولة، و يريدون ان تظل الفوضى، وهم ليسوا من أنصار تقدم الدول ورفاهية شعوبها لانهم يؤمنون بديمقراطية الفوضى الخلاقة.
المشهد الاميركي في حالة اضطراب غير مسبوقة، والرئيس الأميركي ترامب يواجه مجموعة من الفوضويين بالاضافة إلى خصومه من الديمقراطيين الذين لايريدون أن يكمل الرئيس ترامب لولاية ثانية، ويريدون العودة إلى الحكم لدعم أنصارهم في الشرق الأوسط نظام الملالي، و تركيا، و “الاخوان” الارهابية، وقطر، ويقود مشهد الفوضى اليوم في الولايات المتحدة عراب ثورات الخراب العربي اوباما الذي يحرض على نظام الحكم في الولايات المتحدة، و يقود حملة من الأكاذيب لتشويه ادارة الرئيس ترامب الرجل الذي حقق خلال ولايته الاولى الكثير من الإنجازات للشعب الاميركي بعد ما فشل اوباما داخليا، و ايضا خارجيا، وترك نظام الملالي ينهش في الأراضي العربية، ويقتل أبناء العرب. ترامب يؤمن بالديمقراطية في وجود هيبة الدولة و فرض سيادتها بالقوانين والدستور الذي يكفل الحريات والمساواة بين الجميع بينما خصومه الديمقراطيون امثال اوباما والهان عمر ورشيدة طليب يؤمنون بالفوضى الخلاقة التي تهدم الدول والتي طبقوها اولا على الشرق الأوسط، واليوم يطبقونها بالطريقة نفسها في الولايات المتحدة لخدمة أهدافهم الخبيثة التي تسعى إلى إزاحة الرئيس ترامب عن البيت الأبيض.
Translation - English Demonstrations and protests have erupted in 40 U.S. states after George Floyd, an African American man, was killed by police, sparking outrage watched by the whole world. The United States is a great nation, known as the mother of democracy in the world, but what has democracy accomplished in the United States? And where is the American landscape headed?
There is no doubt that what is happening today in the United States is a result of the democracy that previous U.S. administrations used as an excuse to attack Arab countries and overthrow their regimes. Today, America is suffering from a democracy which led to the chaos, looting and larceny that the United States is witnessing. The same thing happened in the Arab world during the ruinous Arab revolutions that were backed by the mullahs' regime in coordination with former President Barack Obama’s administration.
The killing of an American citizen by the police is undoubtedly a crime. Everyone agrees that the police officer who killed Floyd is guilty and deserves to be prosecuted because what he did is a crime. Yet no one is happy with the chaos, theft and economic damage that is taking place in more than one U.S. state, despite President Donald Trump's pledge to prosecute the police officer and bring him to justice. Democracy is a dangerous, double-edged sword that often leads to chaos, as the nation's power declines with the emergence of thugs, anarchists and criminals under the umbrella of democracy.
This is what the United States has realized today.
The U.S. supported terrorists and anarchists in the Arab world, and they were forever strengthened by American administration support. They refused to uphold the law and recognize the nation's authority because they do not want a nation; they want to remain in chaos. They are not proponents of national progress and a country’s well-being because they believe in the democracy of creative chaos.
The American landscape is in a state of unprecedented turmoil. President Trump faces a group of anarchists in addition to his Democratic opponents who do not want him to serve a second term. They want to return to power so they can support their followers in the Middle East: the mullahs' regime, Turkey, the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood and Qatar.
The chaotic scene today in the United States is driven by Obama, the godfather of the ruinous Arab revolutions. Obama is attacking the U.S. system of government and leading a smear campaign to mislead people about Trump, a man who has achieved so much for the American people during his first term following Obama’s domestic and international failures and after Obama allowed the mullahs' regime to destroy Arab land and kill its people.
Trump believes in a democracy that coexists with a nation's authority to govern and in upholding its sovereignty under the law and the Constitution which guarantees freedom and equality for all. Meanwhile, Democrats who oppose him such as Obama, Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib believe in the creative chaos that destroys nations and which they introduced to the Middle East. They are using that chaos the same way today to achieve the vicious goal of removing President Trump from the White House.

Source text - Arabic ما يحدث مع الرئيس ترامب الآن بعد ألآداء السيئ لإدارة جائحة الكورونا في أميركا وتجاوز الأصابات المليونين وأكثر من مائة الف وفاه، وما تبعها من تدهور كبير في الآداء الاقتصادى وفقدان أكثر من عشرين مليون وظيفتهم وتوقع وصول الرقم إلى 38 مليونا، وارتفاع درجة البطالة لتقارب الـ 14 في المائة وخسارة كل الإنجازات التي تباهى بها في سنواته الثلاث الأولى ، وتدهور شعبيته بعد مقتل جورج فلويد واندلاع الإحتجاجات الشعبية في كل المدن الأمريكية بما فيها البيت ألأبيض نفسه, ذروة هذه التطورات تأتي في سنة الانتخابات ليجد الرئيس ترامب نفسه في مأزق تدهور شعبيته حتى لدى الإنجيليين لتتراجع من 77فى المائة في آذار الماضى إلى 62 في المائة في أيار ، و27 نقطة لدى البيض الكاثوليك، وحيث يتغير المزاج العام الأميركي يتغير أيضا المزاج العام للإنجيليين والذين دعموه في الانتخابات ألأولى وفقا للمبدأ الميكيافيلي، الغاية تبرر الوسيلة، وهو مبدأ غير مسيحي .
هذا التدهور في شعبيته مقابل تقدم منافسه جو بايدن يتطلب تدخلا إلهيا، وهذا دفعه ان يذهب إلى الكنيسة في 1-6، حاملا الإنجيل ليرسل رسالة أنه إختيار إلهي ، وأنه دائما الفائز والقادر على خروج أميركا من أزمتها ،وحيث أنه بنى أعظم اقتصاد في سنواته ألأولى فهو قادر على إعادة بنائه مرة ثانيه.
وكما ردد في تصريحاته "الله معنا"، و"الله في صفنا". وهو "القادم الثاني"، وهو "الاختيار الألهي" ، فهو هنا يحاول أن يجمع بين التقوى والوطنية، وانه ألأكثر حرصا على حماية المصالح ألأميركية العليا.
ترامب ليس الرئيس الوحيد الذي لجأ إلى الدين كمنقذ له ودعما لآرائه ورغباته السياسيه فقد سبقه نابليون بونابرت والرئيس فلاديمير بوتين الذي استخدم الدين ووظف الكنيسة ألأرثوذكسيه ، ورئيس وزراء الهند مودي الذيوظف الهندوسية، وملالى إيران خامنئى وتوظيف المعتقد الشيعي ، ونتانياهو واليهودية، لكن النموذج ألأكثر قربا للرئيس ترامب الرئيس بوش الأبن، الذى فاز في انتخابات عام 2000على الرغم من ان الديموقراطيين في عهد كلينتون حققوا إنجازات كبيرة، ولإجابة أن هذه الإنجازات لم تشفع لهم ، وأعطوا أصواتهم للشخص الذى أستطاع أن يحول الأنظار باتجاه الخلاف القائم حول أخلاقيات الحكم.
والفضل يعزى لأصوات الناخبين في الولايات الجنوبية والتي تعرف بحزام الكتاب المقدس، التي أعطت أصواتها لبوش. ورغم تراجع الاقتصاد في ولايته الثانية فقد فاز بولاية ثانيه, والسبب تمسكه بالدين وأنه المخلص والتزامه بأجندة ألأصولية المسيحية، ويظهر هذا في دعمه المطلق لإسرائيل، وانه يجب أن تفوز إسرائيل في كل حروبها والمساهمة في بناء مملكة الله في فلسطين ويسرعوا بعودة المسيح.
ولفهم لماذا حمل ترامب الإنجيل نذكر أن جماعات اليبوريتانيين البروتستنانت عندما هاجرت لأمريكا سمت هجرتها حجا، وأعتبروا أنفسهم حجاجا. وعندما نزلوا ولاية ماساشوستس عام 1620 أستولوا على أراضى الهنود الحمر وقتلوهم مستندين إلى نصوص الإنجيل. وقدموا أميركا على أنها أمة في وجه العالم كما يحاول ان يفعل ترامب اليوم يقدم أميركا على انها تقف أمام العالم وحدها. وأنها ألأمةالمخلص، وجعلوا الأصولية مرادفه للوطنية، واليوم يشكلون قاعدة كبيرة تزيد عن ستين مليون نسمة، ولديهم شبكة كبيرة من الإعلام والصحافة ومن العلاقات مع المتنفذين من السياسيين.
ولذلك بات صوتهم المرجح لنجاح أي مرشح، وكل المرشحين يلجأون للدين لدعم مواقفهم، الرئيس فرانكلين روزفلت كان يتلو نصوصا من الإنجيل في خطبه السياسية لدعم سياساته الليبرالية، والرئيس أيزنهاور دعم ألأجنده المحافظه، لتوحيد ألأميركيين ضد الاتحاد السوفيتى الكافر في الحرب الباردة، وترأس عام 1935 صلاة قومية، وتمسكه بعبارة "تحت الله وأمة واحدة"، وقوله "في الله نثق".
وبعدذلك سار كل الرؤساء المرشحين جمهوريين وديموقراطيين على نفس خطى سابقيهم في التمسك بالدين وتوظيفه سياسيا. الرئيس ترامب ينتمى للمعسكر ألأخير ويبدى إعجابه بالرئيس أيزنهاور لكن مع التركيز على شعار أنا أولا وثانيا، وبدونه ستخسر أميركا وتنهار، فهو المخلص والمنقذ. وأنتخبه المسيحيون في انتخابات 2016 رغم أنه ألأبعد عن معتقداتهم لكنه ألأكثر قدرة على تحقيق مصالحهم وتلبية مطالبهم.
المسيحيون المحافظون وجدوا في ترامب شرا لا بد منه، وأنه سيفعل كل شيء من أجلهم، ويقدم نفسه على أنه الرئيس ألأكثر إستجابة لمطالبهم، وهو يدعوهم اليوم للعودة ثانية لدعمه ومساندته، والقرارات التي اتخذها بنقل السفارة الأمريكية للقدس والإعتراف بالقدس عاصمة لإسرائيل، ومنح إسرائيل الضوء الأخضر لضم كل ألأراضى الفلسطينية يأتي في سياق المعتقد المسيحي بالإسراع بعودة المسيح وذلك بتجميع كل اليهود في "يهودا والسامرة".
ورغم حمله ألإنجيل ، إلا ان موقف الإنجيليين مرتبط بالموقف العام للرأى العام ألأميركى وهذا ظهر في تصريحات العديد من قادتهم الذين أعترضوا على استخدام القوة المسلحة لكبح وإجهاض الاحتجاجات، وكان أقسى رد من بات روبرتسون الإعلامى البارز الذى قال "عليك أن لا تفعل ذلك"، ودعوة المجلة الإنجيلية اليوم بإزالة ترامب من المنصب.
لكنهم في الوقت ذاته يخشون من ان تكون خسائرهم أكبر من عدم دعمه. ويدرك الرئيس ترامب ذلك، وهو ما يخلق حالة من الزواج غير الشرعيى بين ألأصولية المسيحية والرئيس ترامب، فهو شر لا بد منه لهم وهم من سيعيدونه للرئاسة. ولكن الرئيس ترامب ليفوز يريد تدخلا إلهيا، اكثر من تأييد ألأمريكييين، وكما قال جورج ميتشيل زعيم ألأغلبية في مجلس النواب السابق: رغم انه يسأل بانتظام أن يفعل ذلك، فإن الله لا ينحاز إلى السياسة ألأميركية.
ويبقى الصوت الذى يمثله الإنجيليون هو الحاسم في فوز الرئيس ترامب، والذى ما يلوح لهم أن لديه الكثير الذى يمكن أن يقدمه لهم ولإسرائيل. ولا شك أن للدين دور كبير في التاثير على السلوك السياسى للمواطن العادي وعلى الفكر الإستراتيجي ألأميركي، رغم أن الدستور ألأمريكى يفصل بين الدين والسياسه، ويعتبر أمريكا دولة علمانية ، الا انه لا يزال للدين وللجمعيات الدينية دور حاسم في التأثير على القضايا السياسية ألأمريكية، وحيث أن الرئيس هو الذيويجسد كل السياسة ألأميركية وبيده سلطات واسعة فهو ألأكثر تأثيرا لهذه الجماعات، وحيث ان منصب الرئاسة هو الجائزة الكبرى وحلم كل رئيس ان يفوز ويحكم لفترتين رئاسيتين فهو في الوقت ذاته ألأكثر إستجابة لصوت الجماعات الدينية الأصولية.
Translation - English President Donald Trump is now grappling with the aftermath of a badly managed COVID-19 pandemic in America, where infections exceed 2 million and more than 100,000 people are dead. With the subsequent deterioration of the economy, more than 20 million have lost their jobs and that number is expected to reach 38 million. Unemployment is rising to nearly 14% and this spells the loss of all the accomplishments Trump bragged about during his first three years. His popularity declined after George Floyd was killed and protests broke out all over America, including near the White House itself.
These developments have reached a peak during an election year, and President Trump finds his popularity deteriorating even among evangelicals. His approval ratings declined from 77% last March to 62% in May, and dropped 27 points among white Catholics. Where the American public mood is changing, so is the general mood of evangelists who supported him during the first election. They supported him according to the Machiavellian principle in which the end justifies the means, which is not a Christian principle.
Trump’s decline in popularity, while his rival Joe Biden gains in popularity, required divine intervention, and that is why he appeared at a church on June 6 carrying the Bible. The appearance was meant to send the message that he is the divine choice, that he is always the winner and that he is capable of getting America out of this crisis; that he built the greatest economy at the beginning of his term and that he can build it again.
He repeatedly said, “God is with us,” and, “God is on our side.” That he is the “second coming,” and the “divine choice.” He is trying here to combine piety and patriotism, and prove that he is the one who is the most willing to protect the highest American interests.
Trump is not the only president who has turned to religion as his salvation and to gain support for his political views and wishes. Napoleon Bonaparte and Russian President Vladimir Putin also used religion and exploited the Orthodox Church. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi uses Hinduism. The Khamenei mullahs in Iran use Shiism. Benjamin Netanyahu uses Judaism. However, the example that most resembles President Trump was President George W. Bush. He won the 2000 election despite the huge success of the Clinton Democrats. The Clinton administration’s achievements were not enough, and voters turned to the person who could divert their attention toward the dispute over government morality.
This is all thanks to the Southern states, known as the Bible Belt, which gave their votes to Bush. Although the economy was in decline, he won a second term because he adhered to religion and the idea that he was the savior, and he committed himself to the Christian fundamentalist agenda. He made this evident with his utmost support for Israel, asserting that Israel should prevail in all the wars against it, build the kingdom of God in Palestine and hasten the return of the Messiah.
In order to understand why Trump held up a Bible, we should recall that when the Puritan Protestant groups immigrated to America, they called it a pilgrimage and considered themselves pilgrims. When they settled in Massachusetts in 1620, they seized the Native Americans’ land and killed them in the name of the Bible. They presented America as a nation against the world just as Trump is trying to do today, as he presents America as being alone against the world. It is the savior’s nation, where fundamentalism is synonymous with patriotism.
Today, evangelicals form a large base of more than 60 million people and they have a large press network and relationships with influential politicians. Therefore, their support makes success likely for any candidate, and every candidate has relied on religion to back their positions. President Franklin D. Roosevelt recited passages from the Bible in his political speeches to support his liberal policies, as did President Dwight D. Eisenhower, who quoted the Bible to support his conservative agenda and unite Americans against the blasphemous Soviet Union during the Cold War. In 1953, Eisenhower led a national prayer service using the phrases “one nation under God” and “in God we trust.” After that, all presidential candidates, Republicans and Democrats, followed the same path as their predecessors in supporting religion and exploiting it politically. President Trump falls among them and professes admiration for Eisenhower, but he focuses more on the approach that “I am the First and I am the Last,” as if he were the lord and savior, and without him America would collapse in ruin.
Christians elected him in 2016 even though he was the furthest thing from their beliefs, they believed he was still the person best suited to further their interests and satisfy their demands. Conservative Christians have found Trump to be a necessary evil, someone who will do anything for them. He presents himself as the president who has been the most responsive to their demands, and he is calling on them today to return once again to his side. He decided to move the American Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and give Israel the green light to annex all of Palestine’s land according to the Christian belief that the return of Christ can be brought about faster by gathering all the Jews in Judea and Samaria.
Despite the fact he wielded a Bible, the evangelicals’ position on Trump is similar to American public opinion in general. This can be seen in how many of their leaders objected to using the military to suppress and halt protests. The harshest response to Trump came from prominent media spokesman Pat Robertson who said, “You just don’t do that, Mr. President.”
The evangelical magazine, Christianity Today, called for Trump to be removed from office.
Yet at the same time, they fear that not supporting him could be worse, and Trump knows it. Christian fundamentalism and Trump have entered into a toxic relationship; he is a necessary evil for them, and they will ensure he keeps the presidency. However, he wants divine intervention more than the support of Americans to help him win. As former House majority leader George Mitchell once said, “Although he’s regularly asked to do so, God does not take sides in American politics.”
The evangelicals’ vote remains crucial to President Trump’s victory, and they believe he has a lot to offer them and Israel. There is no doubt that religion plays a major role in influencing the political behavior of the average citizen and American strategic thought, although the U.S. Constitution provides for separation of church and state. America is considered a secular country, but religion and religious groups still play a crucial role in shaping American political issues. The president is the one who embodies American politics and wields broad power, so he is the most influential among political groups. Because the presidency is the grand prize and every president dreams of winning and serving two terms, Trump responds the most to the voice of fundamentalist religious groups.

I've been studying Arabic for the past 14 years of my life. There's no doubt at this point that it's a true passion of mine. I even recently decided to change careers and took it to the university level, where I enjoyed doing hours of Arabic and French homework every night. Now, I'm living my dream and currently working as as a freelance translator of Arabic and French to English on ProZ and at Watching America. I'm here to open myself up to more translating jobs, especially international and remote positions.
At UT, I was the odd older student (I graduated at 31 years old) and my background in the Arabic language and culture set me apart and allowed me to shine. This all began when I was a culinary artist that ran my own bakery in Morocco, where I lived for six years. Along the way, I learned Moroccan Arabic and some French and discovered that my passion for languages was far greater. That's when I decided to go back to school and focus on learning Modern Standard Arabic and expand my French. In addition, I'm learning another Arabic dialect, Levantine.
I keep an open mind, continue to study my languages outside of school, and I have a variety of skills and passions outside of school as well. I excelled in sales while supporting myself in school working for the likes of Amnesty International, Plan International and many other NGOs. I would love to find myself working in human rights one day, too. My other hobbies include painting, horseback riding, and dance.
