I haven’t finished my Christmas shopping yet. I am looking for something cute, something else funny and something practical – three presents for each of the young ones (my son and his girlfriend). I have already bought a reindeer made from small twigs. This one – isn’t he cute? He is called after my son. He has large black eyes with which he watches you closely wherever you go. His bright red nose is quite big. He has a fine set of antlers (but small, because he is still very young). He wears a jolly small, narrow red and white woollen scarf. Built into his back is a small plant pot made of wood and brown basket weave. In there is a joyful red plant with little dark green leaves. He stands in big red Wellington (wellies) boots. All this reminds me of the time when Paddington Bear had kept an invitation to afternoon tea with Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II (who has recently died, and when this cherished little bear, sweeping protocol aside, lifted up the teapot and drank from the spout! Then he asked her, “Perhaps you would like to have a marmalade sandwich?” Whereupon he immediately took out a sandwich from his pink hat. He added, “I always keep mine for emergencies!” “Oh no thank-you,” replied Our Queen Elizabeth the 2nd. Then she opened her little black handbag, “You see, I keep mine in here – for later”. She showed him hers with a little sign of satisfaction. He thanked her from the bottom of his heart (because he is a very pleasant bear), “Happy Jubilee Ma’am and thank you for everything”. It was as if all her loyal subjects were sending a farewell message! It touches our hearts – doesn’t it? It was as if she was comforted and happy to be thanked for her loyalty and her steadfast service when she replied, “That’s very nice!”. Paddington Bear raised his hat and nodded his head.

J’ai déjà acheté un renne fait avec des petits rameaux. Celle -ci c’est si mignon n’est-ce-pas ? Il porte le nom de mon fils. Il a des grands yeux noirs avec lesquels il vous regarde attentivement partout où vous allez. Son nez vermeil est assez grand. Il a une belle ramure en haut (mais petite, parce-ce-qu’il est encore très jeune jusqu’à présent). Il porte une jolie petite étroite écharpe rouge et blanche en laine autour de son cou. Intégré à son dos il y a un petit pot de plantes fabriqué en bois et du tissage de panier marron. Là – bas il y a une joyeuse plante rouge avec des petites feuilles vert foncé. Il se tient debout dans des grands rouges bottes aigles. Tout cela me rappelle l'ourson Paddington Bear qui a été invité à un rendez - vous avec Sa Majesté la Reine Elizabeth 2, pour avoir du thé de l’après–midi. Pendant le rendez-vous cet ours Chéri, oubliant tout type de protocole, souleva la théière et but du bec verseur ! Après, il lui demanda, « Voudriez-vous peut-etre avoir un sandwich à la marmelade ? » Sur quoi il prit immédiatement un sandwich de l’intérieur de son chapeau rouge ! Il ajouta, « Je garde toujours le mien pour les urgences ! » « Mais non, merci » répondit Notre Reine Elizabeth 2. Donc elle a ouvert son petit sac noir, « Alors, je garde le mien ici – pour plus tard ». Elle lui montra le sien avec un petit signe de satisfaction. Il lui remercia du fond du cœur (parce qu’il est un ours très agréable), « Joyeux jubile Madame et merci pour tout. » C’etait comme si tous les fidèles faisaient un message d’adieu ! » Cela touche le cœur n’est- ce- pas ? C’est comme si elle était soulagée et heureuse d’être remerciée pour sa loyauté et son service résolu quand elle répondit, « C’est très gentil. » Paddington Bear enleva son chapeau et inclina la tête.

Source text - English A few days ago, two cats in my garden were on the point of fighting. They had very angry faces. They had already started up their deadly wailing sirens. I knew what to do at this critical moment! I went into my kitchen and I returned with a small basin of cold water. That quickly dispersed them! One of the cats called Suki lives two doors away from me but the other was to me a complete stranger – a big Persian Blue. Well, I remembered well having seen Suki fighting a different cat last summer! At this time, both were engaged in the fire of action howling with fur flying! Cold water had done its job well!
Translation - French Il y a quelques jours, deux chats de mon jardin étaient sur le point de se battre. Ils semblaient extrêmement furieux ! Ils avaient déjà commencé à gémir avec leurs cris mortels. J’ai su quoi faire à ce moment critique ! Je suis allée dans ma cuisine et je suis revenue sur les lieux de la bagarre, avec un petit bassin d’eau froide. Cela les a dispersés très rapidement ! L’un des chats s’appelle Suki et habite à deux portes de chez moi mais l’autre m’est totalement inconnu – un grand persan poilu. Eh bien, je me suis souvenue d’avoir vu Suki combattre un chat différent l’été dernier ! À l’époque, tous deux étaient dans le feu de l’action : hurlant avec de la fourrure volante ! Prince Charles of Great Britain, Camilla and Kate are going. The representatives from the 27 countries of The United Nations are going. The Israelian President Naftalo Bennett is going. The President of Turkey is going. The French President Monsieur Macron is going. The Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau is going. It isn’t known at the time of writing these lines whether the following people are going or not – The Prime Minister of Italy Mario Draghi, The Columbian President Iva Duque, The Swedish President Stefan Lofven, The Swiss President Guy Parmelin, The President of South Korea Moon-Jae-in, the President of The Congo, The President of Nigeria, The President of Ghana and The President of Argentina. President Macron wants to discuss the dilemma of “over-fishing” and the fishing crisis as a whole. All the delegates want to talk about the crisis of sudden down-pours and additional flooding. It’s a very serious situation. The quantity of water has destroyed the town centres. There is a food crisis. Six billion dollars would be needed to help 42 million people. Millionaires must step up. They should give a helping hand to under-developed countries (0.36% of their net worth to save the poorest in the developing countries). “Dinosaur” is the name of the United Nations’ new campaign which focuses on the harmful effects of the ill-fated subsidies allocated to fossil fuels. The world spends 376 billion dollars annually to subsidize fossil fuels.
THE PARIS AGREEMENT
It’s the United Nation’s development programme. It’s a legally binding international treaty with the aim of keeping global warming to preferably 1.5 degrees celcius, in force since the 4th November 2016, to reach a global peaking of greenhouse gas and achieve a climate neutral world by mid-century. It’s a landmark – a common cause – ambitious efforts to combat climate change and adapt to its effects. It requires economic and social transformation based on the best available science from Sir David Attenborough. It’s a five- year cycle. By 2020 all countries must have submitted their plans for climate action (NDC’s) to reduce their Greenhouse Gas emissions and communicate the actions they will take to build resilience to adapt to the impacts of rising temperatures and give their long-term development strategies to reduce their Greenhouse Gas emissions and long-term strategies for low Greenhouse Gas emissions. (LT-LEDS) These are not mandatory but are in-built with countries whose long-term planning and development priorities are to provide vision and direction for future development. It’s a framework for financial, technical and capacity building support for those countries that need it. Developed countries should provide financial assistance to countries less-endowed and vulnerable and voluntary contributions ought to be made by other parties. The global vision consists of a technical development and transfer to improve resilience to climate change and to reduce the emissions (GES). It’s a technological framework to accelerate technical development and transfer through policy and implementation to accelerate capacity building for developing countries.
PROGRESS
Those countries which have established a transparency framework (ETF) from here to 2024 must report transparently on actions taken and progress made in climate change mitigation (climate finance is needed), adaptation measures and support provided or received. It provides for international procedures for the review of the submitted reports. Then the Global Stocktake will assess the collective progress towards the long-term climate goals and towards more ambitious plans in the next round of talks. Since its entry low carbon solutions and new markets/countries/regions/ cities/companies are establishing carbon neutrality targets - for zero-carbon solutions in the power and transport sectors and created many new business opportunities and early movers.

At the opening of COP 26.
The UN Climate Chief said, “We stand at a pivotal point in history. We choose either to receive rapid and large-scale reductions of emissions to keep the goal to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees c or we accept that humanity faces a bleak future on this planet”. Greta Thunberg accused world leaders of avoiding taking “real action” on climate change. Boris Johnson said, “COP 26 is the moment of truth for the world”. Prince Charles said, “COP 26 is the last chance saloon.” Regarding the Paris Agreement commitments; A Government climate advisor said that changes to flight taxes was merely an attempt to prove that Brexit was a good idea. The UN secretary-general commented, “The time for diplomatic niceties is over if the world is to be saved”. Every day that we don’t implement the Paris Agreement is a day lost, having dire repercussions especially for the most vulnerable people in the world. Methane emissions must be kept under control. These emissions were responsible for around 30% of global temperature rises in pre-industrial times. “The government is working on a meat-tax to curb the impact of global warming,” says Alok Sharma. The world has now to step up on adaptation to address loss and damage and to act now to keep the hope for 1.5 degrees celcius alive. Green growth for good green jobs for cleaner, cheaper power will create solutions. Every fraction of a degree avoided is a life, a town, some space saved somewhere in the world! Furthermore, he pointed out that parts of the world will disappear under water even if the target of 1.5 degrees c is not met. We are now at global warming of 1.1 degrees c above pre- industrial levels”.
THE GREAT GREEN WALL IN AFRICA.
There are 700 million hectares of degraded land in Africa. It’s a precious opportunity to restore the land, the forest and the bio-diversity and will address the social, economic and environmental impacts of land degradation and desertification. The Duke of Rothesay and Prince Charles (who is well-known in Scotland) made some observations about the Great Green Wall in Africa (an ambitious and epic plan to cultivate an exceptional natural wonder- a stretch of 8000 kms of green grass across the width of Africa to be achieved from now to 2030). They must turn over 100 million hectares of degraded land, impound 250 million tons of carbon and create ten million jobs in the rural regions. Everybody’s aims should be to make sustainability the growth story of our time, to start designing creative solutions for future generations. We can succeed if we work together, hand in hand. Indigenous people know how to protect the land. They tell us that we cannot build The Great Green Wall by sitting in our offices! Moreover, they tell us that it will put an end to poverty and promote prosperity and well-being for all, and protect the planet.
THREE MONTHS LATER
Further to this event, the COP 26 President Mr Sharma has said that climate change is threatening catastrophic economic damage post-Covid. “Where people’s ability to feed their families becomes precarious and extreme weather and diseases wipe out our livelihoods, people may be forced from their homes, and civil unrest may ferment, just as we are repairing the harm inflicted by the pandemic”.

L’accord de Paris.
Le programme de développement écrit par Les Nations-Unies est un traité international juridiquement contraignant. Il a pour but de maintenir la température à1,5 degrés c. pour contrôler le réchauffement climatique. Il a été mis en place le 4 novembre 2016 pour limiter le pic mondial des gaz à effet de serre - dès que possible pour atteindre un monde climatiquement neutre d’ici la moitié du siècle. C’est un moment marquant « une cause commune » - des efforts ambitieux pour lutter contre le changement climatique et s’adapter à ses effets. Tout cela nécessite une transformation économique et sociale basée sur la meilleure science disponible de la part de Monsieur David Attenborough. C’est un cycle de 5 ans. Au début de l’année 2020 tous les pays doivent avoir soumis leurs plans pour l’action climatique (les CDN’S) pour réduire leurs émissions des gaz de serre et pour communiquer les actions qu’ils mettront en place. Ils doivent aussi communiquer les actions qu’ils feront pour renforcer la résilience pour s’adapter aux impacts de la hausse des températures et les stratégies à long terme pour le développement de faibles émissions des gaz à effet de serre. Les LT-LED ne sont pas obligatoires mais vont dans le contexte de pays dont ses priorités à long terme sont la planification et le développement afin de créer une vision et une orientation du futur. C’est un cadre pour le soutien financier technique et de renforcement des capacités. Il indique que les pays développés devraient fournir de l’aide financière aux pays moins riches et plus vulnérables et des contributions volontaires doivent être faites par les autres parties. La vision globale consiste en un développement technique et d’un transfert pour améliorer la résilience au changement climatique et réduire les émissions (GES). Il faut un cadre technologique pour accélérer le développement technique et pour soutenir le renforcement des capacités des pays en développement.
Le progrès
Quant aux pays qui ont établi un cadre de transparence augmenté (LES CTA). Le cadre de transparence renforcé d’ici 2024 ordonne que tous ces pays doivent faire un rapport de manière transparente sur les actions prises et le progrès fait dans l’atténuation du changement climatique, des mesures prises d’adaptation et du soutien fourni ou reçu. Cela donne des procédures internationales pour examen dans les dossiers soumis. Après cela La Bourse Mondiale évaluera les progrès collectifs vers des buts climatiques à long-terme et vers les plans plus ambitieux au prochain tour. Depuis son entrée, il y a des solutions de carbone bas et de nouveaux marchés. Les pays, régions, villes et entreprises établissent des objectifs de carbone neutre, des solutions Zéro-carbone dans les secteurs de l’énergie et des transports et ils ont créé de nouvelles opportunités.

En outre Monsieur Sharma a ajouté « Certains régions du monde disparaîtront même si le but de 1,5 degrés celcius n’est pas réalisé. Nous sommes en ce moment à un niveau de réchauffement climatique de 1,1 degré celcius plus haut que les niveaux préindustriels.
LE GRAND MUR VERT EN AFRIQUE
Il y a 700 millions d’hectares de terre dégradées en Afrique. C’est une bonne opportunité de réparer – la terre, la forêt et la biodiversité et de fixer des impacts sociaux, économiques et environnementaux concernant la dégradation de la terre et la désertification. Le Duc de Rothesay et le Prince Charles ont fait des observations à propos du GRAND MUR VERT en Afrique. Le mouvement mène les Africains vers un plan ambitieux et épique afin de cultiver une merveille naturelle couverte d’herbe verte (8000 Km) à travers toute la largeur de l’Afrique. Monsieur Sharma a dit que le changement climatique a menacé l’économie de manière catastrophique. Source text - English HAND-PAINTED TABLEWARE
To paint plates and dishes etc. is one activity that I would like to do in the future. To this day I can still hear the emotional cries of warning from my Aunt Joan “Watch out for my DENBY!” At this time my aunt was Headmistress of her own private preparatory school in Burford situated in the heart of the Cotswolds. I had gone to help her polish all the desks during the summer holidays. How I would come to love dishes!
Denby is a village in the English county of Derbyshire, the birthplace of the first English Astronomer Royal- appointed by King Charles 2nd, John Flamsteed. It is also the location of the pottery company. DENBY is grey stoneware made from the strongest local iron-rich clay with a high–quality, bold, hard-wearing glaze for chip–free and durability, hand–crafted to the highest standard and manufactured at Denby Pottery in England, a family–run business for two hundred years since 1918. They continue to manufacture beautiful tableware, cookware and plates and dishes for dinner service.

It is in actual fact one of the most evocative of tableware in the world!
Do you ever tire of seeing totally white plates, day after day, on the table?
So then, why not add some colour?
Painting and design by hand may be the best solution!
Use your imagination and transfer your ideas to plates!
I have two examples;
Watercolour on plates……You will need water and porcelain paints, a porcelain brush. Begin by dabbing a paint of your choice onto a ¼ of the plate. Tilt the plate to the right and the left so that the paint runs. Add more water and tilt it again slightly so that the paint runs slightly. Add more paint where you started, which will make the colour there stronger. Leave all that to dry for ten minutes. Tilt it all once more and leave the plate to dry overnight. Bake in the oven at a gentle heat for 45 minutes.
Gold–painted dishes. You will need gold and black porcelain paints, a brush and a foam brush. Use your imagination! Paint half of the plate in your designs or stripes or even dots. A black porcelain pencil is useful to draw a picture or a precise design! When you have finished the decoration leave everything to dry and afterwards bake it in the oven.
Other types of hand-painted plates include; abstract, polka-dot on porcelain, dishes with spots. Adding spots is so easy! You can also paint motifs such as flowers, stars, anything - it’s up to you!

Ȇtes-vous fatigué de voir des assiettes toutes blanches, jour après jour sur la table ? Donc-ajouter du couleur ! Peinture à la main et dessin soient la meilleure solution ! Utilisez votre imagination et transférez vos idées aux assiettes !
J’ai deux échantillons principales ici ; pour assiettes d’aquarelle…vous avez besoin d’eau et des peintures porcelaines, un pinceau en porcelaine. Commencer par la tamponnage sur le peinture de votre choix sur un tiers (1/4) de l’assiette. Inclinez la peinture sur des deux cotés (à droite et à gauche). Ajouter plus d’eau et l’inclinez de nouveau légèrement la peinture pour qu’elle tourne légèrement. Ajouter plus de peinture au point de départ ce qui rendra le couleur là-bas plus forte. Laissez tout cela à sécher du jour au lendemain. Faire cuire à feu doux …à basse température pendant quarante-cinq minutes.
Pour des assiettes (vaisselle peinté en or). Vous avez besoin de peintures à la porcelaine en or et noir, un pinceau et un autre pinceau mais en mousse. Utilisez votre imagination ! Peindre la moitié de l’assiette avec des dessins, rayures ou mêmes des points. Un crayon de porcelaine noire est utile pour faire de la peinture et du dessin précis ! Lorsque vous avez fini de décorer …laissez tout à sécher et après cela faire cuire tout au four ! Des autres types inclus …peinture abstraite / peinture à pois (dot-p-de la Chine en porcelaine) la vaisselle aux tâches. Ajouter des tâches …c’est facile !

This would be an activity of my choice that I would like to do in the future. I would love to attend a concert of André Rieu in any capital in Europe or in Dublin, Ireland. It would be an extremely joyous affair. I have already seen many of his concerts on television. I am going to describe the scene for you. I have only adjectives to describe it: flamboyant, exotic, all the most vivid colours, entertainment and joyful exhuberance! Also, I have some phrases;
• lots of applause from the public
• public participation
• the beating of drums, trombones, clarinets and violins
• beautiful blouses with sequins, luxury, feelings of well-being
• glittering necklaces
• dresses of all colours and evening gowns, fine silk dresses and disguises
• loud classical music
It’s always the same thing – a huge audience seated outdoors. The orchestra plays music from Operas with ballroom dancing to theme music from films such as “DR Zhivago”.
The Waltz is the principal dance with “The Blue Danube” being the most famous. The performers dance with such impeccable precision. Unbelievable! These concerts always take place in the open air, in the large square at the town centre, no matter in which country. It’s a happy, positive and powerful experience. Towards the end of the concert the audience gets up to dance joyfully all around the square and, to crown it all, and to satisfy the sense of humour of André Rieu – light “snow” falls, falls, falls over the orchestra, artistes and audience alike. Oh my! How I would love to be there – to sing and dance in an evening gown!

Des artistes dansent avec une telle précision impeccable. Incroyable ! Chaque fois, ces concerts se déroulent sur une grande place en plein air dans n’importe quel pays. C’est une expérience heureuse, positive et puissante. A la fin du concert, le public s’est mis à danser de tout joie autour de la grand-place et pour couronner le tout et pour satisfaire le sens de l’ humour de André Rieu, une neige légère tombe, tombe, tombe sur l’orchestre, les artistes et le public de la même façon ! Oh la- la ! Comme j’aimerais tellement y’être – à chanter et à danser, en portant une robe de soirée ! Cette superstar André Rieu et son orchestre Johann Strauss !

Many visitors have recommended going to the East End of the coast which is definitely worth the walk. Here you’ll find silver dunes and green marram grass. From above it looks like a mini – island. It will be as if you are walking into a marina as small sailing boats are anchored there sitting on the glistening waters. As it’s a fair walk the crowds will be fewer and you’ll have a chance to have more of the sand to yourself. It’s the perfect place to bring your dogs, and if you feel like viewing the beach from a different angle then you can ride horses there too. There are also lifeguards present in case your little ones want a swim in the shallow waters

It was established by former Gurkha officer David Thomas and his actress wife Joanna more than 40 years ago. Thomas prides itself on its “happy dynamic and vibrant” ambience with its emphasis on kindness as well as its academic results and has a roll call of pupils who go on to study at Eton.
Kate spoke about the challenges of home schooling and looking after the two-year old Prince Louis.
The couple decided to act on advice given to them to have some structure – a strict routine which they were able to maintain right through the summer holidays! Kate had this to say, “You get to the end of the day and they’ve had a lovely time. It’s amazing how much you can cram into one day, that’s for sure”. while William, speaking on “that Peter Crouch podcast” said that he had learnt that , “Probably that my patience is a lot shorter than I thought it was…and that my wife has a lot of patience” and added about his knowledge of Maths – “I can’t do Year 2 maths”.

. TYRONE AND THE SPERRINS
The largely rural counties of Tyrone and Londonderry are dominated by heather-covered slopes in the heath-land of the Sperrin mountains, the most vast and least explored of the mountain chaines in Northern Ireland. Tyrone and the Sperrins are part of the best eco-tourism terrains in Northern Ireland with their rivers full of wild-life, mountains, valleys, forests, lakes and outdoor activities.
The old swamp gives the Sperrins’ landscape its character and in recent decades, it has revealed secular secrets, most especially, the Beaghmore Menhir circles, created around 1500 BC, perhaps as an observatory and a place of ritual for the people who cultivated the high pastures of the Sperrins.
With its beautiful hills exposed to the wind, Tyrone is generally frequented by hikers who relax in the pleasant pubs of the main street after a hectic day out. Quality walks include “The Thief’s Table” near Gortin, which passes by the very place where the supposed seventeenth century bandits would meet up to share their booty after an attack on a stagecoach.
Be sure to see the latest attraction in the area, the Arts and Welcome Centre for visitors to O’Neil’s Hill and Ranfurly House which the celebrated dynasty of O'Neil had ruled Gaelic Ireland for 300 years. La belette esthète.
Une belette –ou- était-ce un belet?
Était campéé sur un galet
Au beau milieu d’un ruisselet-
Voulez-vous savoir
Pourquoi?
La gros bêta
M’en a par devers soi fait confidence:
Ce bel
animal très raffiné
Ne faisait tout ça que pour la rime et l’élégance.

The aesthetic Weasel.
A lady Weasel or was it a male?
Was camped out on a pebble
In the beautiful environment of a brooklet,
Do you wish to know why?
The silly ninny
Told me quite frankly in a secret,
This beautiful animal very refined,
Was only doing it for the rime and style.
The content of the poem in English is;
It’s about a Weasel . It’s not clear whether it is a male or a female. It was seen by the writer when out in the beautiful English countryside ( or indeed as we are told by a poetry expert that the poet did it just to create a poem with rhyme and rhythm in it). As is stated in the last line of the poem… Anyway the poet sets a beautiful scene as the setting for this poem. The weasel was sitting on a boulder (or a stone or a pebble) in the middle of a stream (or a little brook), in an idyllic country scene. (a metaphor). Why do you think it was doing all that? The silly little animal told the author in a secret that he did it for no other reason than to add rhyme and style (elegance) to the poem.
The poet uses the humorous use of words to express the same meaning or to suggest different meanings in a colourful and delightful way. In any case the little poem appeals so much through its response to beauty.

In the lovely surrounds of a sweet brooklet,
Do you wish to know why? A few screws loose?
He told me then of his little secret,
This charming animal,
Most refined,
Did it all for style and rhyme- silly goose!
I put in a few adaptations -a few changes of words and then re-arranged a few words to fit my rhyme and style! I added bits to the poem here and there. The approach was instrumental and communicative making it all reader-targeted and culturally –centred. So I think the target readers would have been interested in how the shape of the poem lends to the work and this is how the rhythm, rhymes and puns all work together for effect.

“JUSTE UN BOL”.
Salade De Fruits
Aux fleurs.

Translation - English Fruit salad with flowers.
2prunes 10 strawberries 1 Victoria pineapple 1 mango
2 kiwis 1 carton of raspberries 1 carton of blueberries.
Mint leaves 1 vanilla pod 4 cases of ginger sugar shavings.
4 tablespoonfuls of fresh thick cream, edible flowers, a poetic touch - a carnation.
Or nasturtium buttons.
1/ Wash the fruit. Cut the prunes
into slats. Top and tail the strawberries
and divide into 4. Peel the pineapple, the
mango and the kiwis before cutting them into pieces. Add
the raspberries and blueberries.
Mix it all up. Sprinkle
2 tablespoonfuls of sugar and stir. Set this aside
2 / Crack open the vanilla pod in two and recover the pulp. Mix
This with the rest of the sugar.
3/ Divide the fruit salad into the bowls.
Put a dollop on each one of a good tablespoonful of fresh cream.
Sprinkle the vanilla sugar obtained in step 2.
Sprinkle small flowers or the petals of edible flowers.
Decorate with mint leaves before serving.
Chef ´s Tip.
Taste it with a fresh Springtime beer of the season!

I started off teaching in primary schools in London and then taught French in High schools in the Channel Islands and N.Ireland where I also helped with the moderation of GCSE’s – and ran a French club privately on Saturdays for primary-aged children (modules of French were worked through and certificates were handed out). I put on plays in French such as “Goldilocks and the three bears”, with scenery, coloured lights, music, songs, and dancing. The parents danced too!
I have carried out many medical consecutive interpreting sessions for patient appointments in hospitals, and undertook medical translations, Social Security appointments, technical translations and proof-reading of railways in France, community legal documents, contracts, CV’s, confidential legal letters about inheritance matters. I have done one technical translation on-line ( a document of 6156 words (25 A4 pages) with a lexicon to follow about Engineering construction work and building materials, and proof-reading of industrial products. Recently I translated some legal documents ( one of which had 6000 words). I’m interested in retail, marketing and advertising and have had experience in customer service in Harrods, Selfridges and Hamleys stores and boutiques in London. I currently run my own on-line shop to sell my art prints.
I have written many large files of many medical issues for interpreting at Level 4 and translations such as Diabetes, pregnancy and its complications, childbirth and its complications , a mother’s health after childbirth and that of the newborn’s, preparation for operations and surgical procedures, renal biopsy, an MRI scan, children's’ complaints, physiotherapy, a patient’s medical report, and some material on coronavirus - all in French. traductions médicales, en outre, des rendez-vous face à face et consécutive concernant des questions de la sécurité sociale, des traductions
techniques et des relectures de systèmes ferroviaires en France, documents
juridiques à propos questions d’héritage. J’ai fait une traduction technique en
ligne (6156 mots) avec un lexique à suivre au sujet de travaux de
construction-engineering et la relecture d’épreuves de produits industriels.
J’ai récemment traduit quelques documents légales (6000 mots). Je suis
intéressée par le marketing et à la vente au de détail, la publicité et j’ai eu
de l’expérience face à face avec des clients aux grands magasins tels que
Harrods, Selfridges, et Richard.
Maintenant je dirige une boutique en ligne pour vendre les impressions
de mes peintures en acrylique de ma gamme « ME COLORER VIVEMENT ».
Finalement, j’ai écrit plusieurs
dossiers au sujet de problèmes médicaux pour l’interprétation et traduction
tels que : le diabète, la grossesse et ses complications, l’accouchement
et ses difficultés, la santé de la nouvelle mère et ça de nouveau-né, des préparatifs
pour opérations et interventions chirurgicales, une biopsie rénale, une
échographie IRM, des maladies de l’enfance, la physiothérapie, un rapport
médical d’un patient et quelques pages sur le coronavirus, et beaucoup
d’autres ! Tout est écrit en
français
